  • Patent number: 11940248
Abstract: Target engagement training apparatus, devices, systems and methods that can include wearable training devices on eye glasses and the like as well as mountable to weapons, such as rifles, and pistols, that identifies targets for users to shoot at whether randomly or in a prescribed manner, varies the speed that target identifiers are provided, and varies the duration the target identifier is shown. The target engagement training device dictates to the user which target to engage. The targets can include but are not limited to: 2D (two dimensional) planar materials with various graphics, such as sheets of paper, wood, or metal with printed, painted, or projected images or video displayed; 3-dimensional simulated human or animal figures; or simulated or actual vehicles, buildings, or other structures or items intended for target engagement training. • Patent number: 11829961
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a communications interface configured to communicate over one or more networks, at least one processor and at least one memory including program code is provided. The at least one memory and the program code configured to, with the processor, cause the apparatus to at least receive, via the communications interface, an interparty transaction request. The interparty transaction request corresponds to an interparty transaction and identifying a first party and a second party. The apparatus generates a smart contract based on the interparty transaction request; stores a data entry indicating the generation of the smart contract to a distributed ledger; executes the smart contract to cause settlement of the interparty transaction between the first party and the second party; and stores a data entry indicating the settlement of the interparty transaction to the distributed ledger.

  • Patent number: 11304426
Abstract: A bacon analogue or a reconstructed bacon product having a first component with about 42% lean meat, such as a lean pork muscle and about 58% fat and a second component with at least about 85% lean meat, such as a lean pork muscle is provided. The bacon analogue may have a ratio of first to second components of between about 35:65 to about 65:35 and a total fat percentage of about 28% to about 48%. In another configuration, the ratio of first to second components is about 25:75 to about 75:25. In one approach, the bacon analogue is free from alginate binders and free of emulsified meat. In one configuration, the first and the second components are ground to a size of about 0.125-inch to 0.5-inch. After the first and second components are separately mixed and cured, the components are pumped together into a marbled slab having an appearance similar to a pork-belly, which may then be sliced.

  • Publication number: 20210259472
Abstract: A food processing apparatus comprises a container for food to be processed, the container having a removable cover arranged to engage with the container, and a tool drive for a processing tool, wherein the apparatus is arranged to operate in a first processing mode when the cover is engaged with the container, and is arranged to operate in a second processing mode when the cover is not engaged with the container, in which in the second processing mode, use of the tool drive for processing is restricted with respect to the first processing mode. Thus the apparatus can operate in a ‘safe’ mode when the lid is not engaged.
