  • Patent number: 11315779
Abstract: A mass spectrometric system comprises an RF-device for transversely confining ions in an ion region using: (a) a first set of electrodes arranged parallel to one another along a direction of ion travel to define a first transverse boundary of the ion region, and that are supplied with a first RF-voltage such that opposite phases of the first RF-voltage are applied to adjacent electrodes of the first set; and (b) a second set of electrodes arranged parallel to one another along said direction of ion travel to define a second transverse boundary of the ion region, and that are supplied with a second RF-voltage such that opposite phases of the second RF-voltage are applied to adjacent electrodes of the second set, the first and second transverse boundaries being opposite each other in a transverse direction of the ion region and the first and second RF voltages having different frequencies.

  • Publication number: 20220124580
Abstract: A method for user equipment (UE) service handover from the serving cell to a target cell includes information regarding a handover timer and an associated handover execution condition. For scheduled handover to be performed upon expiration of the handover timer, the associated handover execution condition comprises one or more abort conditions for aborting the scheduled handover. For two-stage triggered handover to be performed upon receipt of a subsequent triggering message, the handover timer is a handover validity timer and the associated handover execution condition comprises receipt of the handover triggering message prior to expiration of the handover validity timer.

  • Publication number: 20220104233
Abstract: Timing adjustments or frequency offsets that at least partially compensate for Doppler shift (e.g., due to distance of a satellite transmitter or relative speed of a terrestrial receiver) of a signal, physical channel, or resource during wireless transmission are configured. The characteristics compensated comprise one of resource element (RE) mapping, channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) configuration, bandwidth part (BWP) configuration, or control resource set (CORESET) configuration. Information indicating the multiple configurations is transmitted from a base station (BS) to at least one user equipment (UE). The timing adjustments or frequency offsets are specifically configured for one UE, a group of UEs, or the UEs served by a single serving cell. Joint transmission from multiple cells/TRPs/spotbeams may involve partial/full subcarrier alignment.

  • Patent number: 11137928
Abstract: Methods and systems for backing up and restoring different point in time versions of a virtual machine, a real machine, an application, a database, or a set of electronic files using a plurality of independently managed snapshot chains are described. The different point in time versions of the data being backed-up may be stored using two or more snapshot chains corresponding with two or more data partitions of the data being backed-up. Over time, additional full image snapshots may be acquired from an external server or generated locally by a storage appliance to limit the snapshot chain lengths and to limit the aggregate block chain lengths for the snapshot chains. Acquisition and generation of the additional full image snapshots may be staggered across different data partitions to limit computational and storage costs per snapshot.

  • Patent number: 11077901
Abstract: An inner tube moves axially between an outer tube and a support, all of which are concentrically arranged, to a desired telescopic position, relative to the outer tube and the support, and can be locked in the desired telescopic position by applying radial force between the support and the inner surface of the inner tube. The radial force generates a frictional force acting on the inner surface of the inner tube, which resists longitudinal movement of the inner tube. A bicycle actuator cable is coupled to an actuation connector for a tension-controlled actuator by a bicycle cable connector which has a fixed longitudinal position on the bicycle actuator cable. The bicycle cable connector is longitudinally consistently removably repeatably interengageable with the actuation connector to maintain longitudinal alignment of the bicycle actuator cable with the actuator through repeated engagement and disengagement of the bicycle cable connector and the actuation connector.
