  • Publication number: 20240348878
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for recommending content restrictions to a user based on chatter in a social network of the user. The system analyzes chatter in the social network to identify a correlation between what is posted by users and the content that the users are posting about. The system stores a mapping between chatter and expected attributes of the content referenced by the chatter. The system will determine whether to block the content when an expected attribute is associated with a content restriction.

  • Publication number: 20240327855
Abstract: The disclosure relates to compositions and methods for reducing polyphenol oxidase (PPO) activity in plants, including wheat plants. The compositions comprise plants, plant parts, plant cells, and seeds comprising a mutation in at least one endogenous PPO1 or PPO2 gene. Products produced from the grain of plants have reduced browning.

  • Publication number: 20240287441
Abstract: Disclosed are modified strains of Chlorella microalgae species, the modified strains having a reduced chitin content. Also disclosed is a method for producing them. The method involves performing mutagenesis of a parent strain of the microalgae. Furthermore, disclosed is a composition comprising algae biomass derived from the modified strains and their use in food and/or cosmetics amongst other applications. Advantages of the low chitin content include aiding digestibility and nutrient availability of the whole-cell ingredient without further downstream processing.

  • Patent number: 10591899
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a technique for rendering a pre-visualization image representative of a 3D object to be printed by a 3D printer. The technique accesses a geometric digital model of the 3D object and receives one or more printer characteristics of the 3D printer. The one or more printer characteristics are associated with settlement of added material to the 3D object by the 3D printer. The technique further receives one or more material parameters of a volume of the added material that forms the 3D object. The technique further generates a digital aggregate build-up model of the 3D object using the geometric digital model, the one or more printer characteristics, and the one or more environmental parameters. Then the technique renders a pre-visualization image representative of the 3D object as the 3D object would be printed by the 3D printer based on the generated digital aggregate build-up model.

  • Patent number: 10155652
Abstract: A retail fueling environment comprises a plurality of fuel dispensers located so that each defines at least one refueling position. Site automation electronics are in communication with the plurality of fuel dispensers. A fueling position availability indicator system is also provided, including a plurality of position indicators indicating availability status of at least one associated refueling position. Detection electronics are operative to ascertain data regarding transaction status of refueling transactions at the refueling positions. In addition, processing electronics are operative to determine a state of each of the position indicators based at least in part on the transaction status. A position indicator control device is operative to produce control signals to the position indicators.
