  • Publication number: 20240105698
Abstract: An example of a pixel module comprises a module substrate having light emitters disposed on a light-emitter surface and a controller disposed on a controller surface opposed to the light-emitter surface. At least one module electrode is electrically connected to the controller and at least one module electrode is electrically connected to each light emitter. An example of a pixel-module wafer comprises a module source wafer comprising sacrificial portions and module anchors, each sacrificial portion laterally separated from an adjacent sacrificial portion by a module anchor and a pixel module disposed entirely over each sacrificial portion. At least one module tether physically connects each of the pixel modules to at least one of the module anchors. An example of a pixel-module display comprises a display substrate, pixel modules disposed on the display substrate and display electrodes disposed on the display substrate, each display electrode electrically connected to a module electrode.

  • Patent number: 9892565
Abstract: Methods for generating and displaying images associated with one or more virtual objects within an augmented reality environment at a frame rate that is greater than a rendering frame rate are described. The rendering frame rate may correspond with the minimum time to render images associated with a pose of a head-mounted display device (HMD). In some embodiments, the HMD may determine a predicted pose associated with a future position and orientation of the HMD, generate a pre-rendered image based on the predicted pose, determine an updated pose associated with the HMD subsequent to generating the pre-rendered image, generate an updated image based on the updated pose and the pre-rendered image, and display the updated image on the HMD. The updated image may be generated via a homographic transformation and/or a pixel offset adjustment of the pre-rendered image by circuitry within the display.

  • Patent number: 9688544
Abstract: A treatment device for stormwater is provided that comprises a container which in use contains a growing medium and a hydrodynamic separator located within the container. The hydrodynamic separator comprises a separation chamber, an inlet duct extending from the outside of the container to the separation chamber, a solids outlet; and a liquid outlet that opens into the container. In use, liquid flow containing solids enters the separation chamber through the inlet duct and is caused to swirl within the separation chamber, thereby causing solids to exit the separation chamber through the solids outlet and liquid to exit the separation chamber through the liquid outlet and to flow into the growing medium.
