  • Publication number: 20250018081
Abstract: The sterilization device for pathogens includes a housing having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, the first end having formed therein at least one air inlet and the second end having formed therein at least one air outlet, a capacitive component disposed within the housing and extending along an air flow path disposed between the at least one air inlet and air outlet, a voltage source electrically connected to the capacitive component, the voltage source configured to supply an alternating voltage to the capacitive component for causing the capacitive component to generate an electric field, and a positive displacement device disposed within the housing and configured to direct a flow of air through the at least one air inlet and towards the capacitive component. One or more pathogens present in the flow of air are destroyed by the electric field.

  • Publication number: 20230375008
Abstract: A bladeless fan comprising a ring-shaped chamber extending longitudinally and defining a suctioned air passage having a main-flow inlet and a main-flow outlet; a compressed-gas inlet adapted to receive compressed gas and to provide the compressed gas to the ring-shaped chamber; and a proximal row of channels radially distributed about the suctioned air passage. The channels provide a fluid connection for the compressed gas from the ring-shaped chamber to the suctioned air passage thereby generating a pressure differential along the suctioned air passage and forcing a flow of gas from the main-flow inlet to the main-flow outlet.

  • Publication number: 20060125593
Abstract: A toroidal transformer core topology having improved thermal and electrical properties has a two part core, one part concentrically disposed within the other, with the windings wound between the two. Less expensive materials and less material can be used to construct the core. The core can be constructed using inexpensive and efficient methods.
