Patent number: 11969265Abstract: Systems and methods for training and implementing a machine learning algorithm to generate feature maps depicting spatial patterns of features associated with osteolysis, synovitis, or both. MRI data, including multispectral imaging data, are input to the trained machine learning algorithm to generate the feature maps, which may indicate features such as a location and probability of a pathology classification, a severity of synovitis, a type of synovitis, a synovial membrane thickness, and other features associated with osteolysis or synovitis. In some implementations, synovial anatomy are segmented in the MRI data before inputting the MRI data to the machine learning algorithm. These segmented MRI data may be generated using another trained machine learning algorithm.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2019Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignees: The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc., New York Society for the Relief of the Ruptured and Crippled, Maintaining the Hospital for Special SurgeryInventors: Kevin M. Publication number: 20230095141Abstract: A carbonated beverage maker includes a water reservoir, a carbon dioxide creation chamber, and a carbonation chamber. The water reservoir holds ice water and has a first impeller and a shroud surrounding the first impeller. The carbon dioxide creation chamber contains chemical elements and receives warm water. The chemical elements react with each other to create carbon dioxide when the warm water is introduced to the carbon dioxide creation chamber. The carbonation chamber is connected to the water reservoir and the carbon dioxide creation chamber. The carbonation chamber has a second impeller that includes a stem portion and blades. The stem portion and the blades define conduits therein. The blades create a low pressure region in a lower portion of the carbonation chamber such that carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide creation chamber flows through the conduits to the low pressure region.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 1, 2022Publication date: March 30, 2023Inventors: Steven T. Publication number: 20220192044Abstract: Example implementations relate to a computing system having a chassis and a front panel pivotably coupled to the chassis via a pair of retention brackets. In some examples, the chassis has a pair of frames that is disposed spaced apart and in parallel to each other. Further, each retention bracket of the pair of brackets is movably coupled to a respective frame of the pair of frames. The front panel is releasably engaged to the pair of frames and pivotably coupled to the pair of retention brackets such that the front panel is movable independently relative to the chassis. During installation and maintenance of the computing system, the front panel is movable linearly along a radial direction relative to the pair of frames and rotatable independently relative to the pair of retention brackets so as to provide clearance for accessing interiors of the chassis.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2022Publication date: June 16, 2022Inventor: Andrew Potter

Patent number: 10994384Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for adhesive fixturing include UV light sources that are connectable to a fixture when the fixture is not attached to the stage of a workcell. A support structure holds the UV light sources in alignment with gripper pins communicating through the fixture. A bus connector operably connects the UV light sources to a control box of the workcell. Attaching the UV light sources to the fixtures outside of the workcell increases the throughput of the workcell and reduces the cost of the fixtured work pieces.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2018Date of Patent: May 4, 2021Assignee: Advanced Simulation Technology, IncorporatedInventors: Matthew T.
