  • Publication number: 20240100778
Abstract: Control systems and methods for efficiently and effectively achieving and/or maintaining a parallel configuration between a build plate and a printing release surface of an additive manufacturing printer are provided. The methods include actions of over-plunging a drive point into a printing release surface and then calculating the build plate position until it achieves a desired target position. Other methods focus on a homing process for setting a zero position of the build plate. Structures used to help prevent build plate deflection include various armatures having a pinned configuration that help to stabilize a location of the build plate to maintain a substantially parallel configuration with respect to the printing release surface.

  • Publication number: 20220027805
Abstract: A network system is capable of facilitating network services to be performed in connection with the events created by users. Based on a created event, event invitations can be transmitted to recipients specified in the created event. Upon receiving acceptances in response to the event invitations, the network system can be configured to identify service providers to render services to the recipients in connection with the event. One or more geo-fenced and time-bound gifts or discounts can be specified to be applied to the services rendered in connection with the event.

  • Publication number: 20180315088
Abstract: A network system for managing network services over a given geographic area includes a recommendation engine for generating recommendations and/or promotions based on context information. Context information can include information relating to a user maintained or stored by the network system. Context information can further include information relating to a service requested by the user. In addition, context information can include information received from third-party sources such as an establishment visited by the user, a calendar service, or a financial transaction service. Based on the context information, the recommendation engine can select appropriate promotions and generate suitable recommendations for the user. In doing so, the recommendation engine can deliver particularly suitable promotions and/or recommendations at times the user is able to take action on the promotions and/or recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20170272478
Abstract: Server-based collaboration is initiated by an email. When the user creates the email message with attachments, a collaboration website is provisioned. The collaboration website allows collaborations on the attached documents by the recipients of the message. The ease of collaboration with email and the advantages of the collaboration server are thus both available to the user.

  • Patent number: 7963883
Abstract: A skidder having a diesel engine coupled to a multiple gear ratio transmission driving a pair of wheel sets for a skidder. The diesel engine is controlled by an operator manipulated foot pedal or hand lever to control the power output and ultimately the maximum skidder ground speed. A controller is provided to pre-select the maximum gear into which the transmission may be placed to ultimately limit the maximum ground speed of the skidder so that the operator sets the forward speed in a binary fashion by depressing the foot pedal or hand operated device to a maximum output condition.
