  • Publication number: 20230298491
Abstract: A heads-up display system for a vehicle includes a display area on a surface of the vehicle and an optical projection unit for projecting graphic elements to the display area. An electronic control unit is operatively connected for computer communication to the optical projection unit. The electronic control unit determines a perspective view of a real road scene from a user while the user views the real road scene through the display area based on a ride height of the vehicle and an eyepoint of the user. The electronic control unit identifies road features that are visible to the user in the perspective view of the real road scene and adjusts a virtual image having inclined content based on the road features so that the inclined content substantially matches the perspective of the real road scene. Further, the electronic control unit controls the optical projection unit to project the virtual image to the display area.

  • Patent number: 11689065
Abstract: Systems and methods for supplying power to an electronic device are provided. A first power limit is received from the electronic device at a transmitter. The transmitter input power is set to correspond to the first power limit. The transmitter supplies power corresponding to the transmitter input power to the electronic device to initiate charging, and an electrical value associated with the transmitter input power is monitored. During monitoring, the first electrical value is compared to a predefined second electrical value, the power supply to the receiver is discontinued based on the monitoring, and the transmitter input power is adjusted to correspond to a second power limit based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 11364804
Abstract: A display system for a vehicle is provided. The display system includes a display device, and control circuitry that is coupled to a user input device and the display device. The control circuitry controls the display device to display a user interface (UI) having a UI element and changes a first opacity level of a first mode text for an outgoing mode of the vehicle, up to a first value so as to mask the first mode text within the UI element. The control circuitry further controls the display device to change a second opacity level of a second mode text for an incoming mode of the vehicle, up to a second value so as to unmask the second mode text within the UI element.

  • Patent number: 11202150
Abstract: An audio control device for a vehicle is provided. The audio control device includes control circuitry that is communicatively coupled to one or more audio reproduction devices of the vehicle. From one or more sensors associated with the vehicle, the control circuitry receives one or more signals. corresponding to a detection of a plurality of objects in a physical space surrounding the vehicle. The control circuitry determines a scene of the physical space, based on the plurality of objects. The control circuitry determines distance between a first object of the detected plurality of objects and the vehicle, based on the received one or more signals. The control circuitry adjusts one or more audio parameters of the audio reproduction devices, based on the determined scene and the determined distance. The control circuitry controls the audio reproduction devices to reproduce a first audio output based on the adjusted audio parameters.

  • Patent number: 11150259
Abstract: A display system and a method for display control of a gauge graphic is provided. The display system controls the display device to display the gauge graphic. The gauge graphic includes a scale and a needle movable on the scale. The scale includes a first region and a second region. The display system detects a first movement of the needle beyond a first threshold marking on the scale and towards an end of the first region and controls the display device to gradually unmask a first gradation pattern in the second region based on the detected first movement. The display system further detects a second movement of the needle over the second region and controls the display device to change the unmasked first gradation pattern so that the unmasked first gradation pattern flashes with a defined frequency in the second region based on the detected second movement.
