Patent number: 10042748Abstract: Systems and methods for automated discovery of gaming preferences and delivery of gaming choices based gaming preferences are disclosed. The systems and methods may operate in real time and may detect and analyze data representing various game features and/or game player behavior and match the data with predetermined models, profiles or game player types. Game choices may then be presented to the game player based on the analysis of the data. Systems and methods to analyze and categorize the game player behavior are also disclosed, including mining data in a cluster model based analysis to identify and develop the models, profiles or game player types and to select the games to be provided for each of the identified models, profiles or game player types. A different collection of games may be provided for each of the identified models, profiles or game player types.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2015Date of Patent: August 7, 2018Assignee: IGT CANADA SOLUTIONS ULCInventors: Bharat Kumar Gadher, Andrew R. Patent number: 8573694Abstract: A method and apparatus for assembling restraint anchorage for use in child seat restraint anchorage by forming a portion of a bracket to engage a tubular rail that supports a plurality of latch wires. A portion of the bracket extends longitudinally along the tube. The extended portion is connected to the tube by mechanical engagement, preferably with a fastener. In a preferred embodiment, the fastener is formed by portions of the latch wire by cold heading shoulders on leg portions of the latch wires.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2005Date of Patent: November 5, 2013Assignee: M & C CorporationInventors: Donald M. Austin, Andrew R. McIntyre

Patent number: 8240735Abstract: A tailgate damping and detent system is disclosed for a vehicle, including a tailgate lift assist system with a torque rod rotationally grounded between the tailgate at a first end and a first side of the vehicle's frame at a second end. “Damping” is achieved by increasing the diameter of the torque rod. The increased torque rod diameter overcompensates for the weight of the tailgate, so that this increased load decelerates the tailgate starting from the neutral balance point to the fully open position. The speed of the tailgate approaches zero at the end of the travel of the tailgate to the fully open position, which greatly reduces the “slam” at the end of travel. The tailgate is held in the open position by a link detent system. There is a slot in the gate side of the link that a spring loaded pin latches into.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2010Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Assignee: M & C CorporationInventors: Andrew R. McIntyre, David J Smallwood

Patent number: 7815241Abstract: A gooseneck hinge assembly for a closure of a vehicle includes a body side strap adapted to be connected to a vehicle body of the vehicle and a closure side strap having a gooseneck shape adapted to be connected to a closure for closing an opening in the vehicle body. The gooseneck hinge assembly also includes a pivot pin pivotally connecting the closure side strap and the body side strap to allow rotational movement therebetween. The gooseneck hinge assembly further includes a wedge bumper interconnecting the body side strap and the closure side strap to allow the decklid to free rise to a fully open position and to dampen an impact of the closure side strap.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2006Date of Patent: October 19, 2010Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations, Inc.Inventors: David T. Patent number: 7243977Abstract: A method and apparatus for coupling a liftgate panel on a vehicle body for pivotal movement along a path between open and closed positions. A mounting includes hinge sets formed from two hinge leafs, at least one torsion rod extending through aligned pivot portions on each hinge set. Preferably, each hinge set is integrally formed with a common torsion pin by retainers holding ends of the torsion pin with respect to one leaf of each of the hinge sets. In a preferred embodiment, a return bent end of a common torsion pin is received in a first leaf of one of at least two hinge sets, while the other end of the rod is return bend and retained in a second leaf catch that receives an arm throughout a limited portion of the liftgate path between closed and open positions.Type: GrantFiled: November 1, 2006Date of Patent: July 17, 2007Assignee: M & C CorporationInventors: Andrew R. McIntyre, Ronald D. McLeod
