  • Publication number: 20240346766
Abstract: A modelling method comprising receiving a plurality of images from an image sensor attached to a side of a hinged door facing an interior of a storage container, wherein each of the plurality of images is captured when the hinged door is at a corresponding one of a plurality of angular positions (?) relative to the storage container, constructing a three-dimensional, 3D, model of contents within the storage container from the plurality of images and the corresponding plurality of angular positions.

  • Publication number: 20240345700
Abstract: The disclosure describes embodiments of systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable storage media that dynamically surface multiple user-specific application function GUIs for setting up (or accessing) application functions for a user account. For instance, the disclosed systems can select and display a GUI for a first application function from a set of application functions. Moreover, upon receiving user interactions with the GUI for the first application function (and identifying whether or not the first application system is activated for the user account), the disclosed systems can select a second application function from the set of application functions and displays a GUI (e.g., a setup interface) for the second application function from the set of application functions.

  • Patent number: 11904102
Abstract: A method for applying adapted colour rendering in relation to intensity of light of wavelengths relevant to the circadian rhythm of a user, a computer program, a carrier, a system and a head-mounted device is disclosed. The method comprises receiving gaze tracking information identifying a gaze vector of the user of the system, and determining a respective location of a first area of the display and a second areas of the display based on the identified gaze vector. A first colour rendering mode is applied in the first area of the display, and a second colour rendering mode is applied in the second area of the display. The first colour rendering mode and the second colour rendering mode differ in relation to a degree of selective adaptation of intensity of light of wavelengths relevant to the circadian rhythm of the user.

  • Patent number: 11592898
Abstract: Techniques for changing the presentation of information on a user interface based on presence are described. In an example, a computer system determines, based on an image sensor associated with the system, a first presence of a first user relative to a computing device. The computer system also determines an identifier of the first user. The identifier is associated with operating the computing device. The operating comprises a presentation of the user interface by the computing device. The computer system also determines, based on the image sensor, a second presence of a second person relative to the computing device. The computer system causes an update to the user interface based on the second presence.

  • Patent number: 11586281
Abstract: A head mountable arrangement assists a subject to acquire spatial information about a surrounding environment by receiving gaze data from an eyetracker and spatial data from a distance sensor respectively. The gaze data describe an estimated point of regard of the subject, and the spatial data describe a distance between a reference point and an object in the surrounding environment. A feedback signal is provided, which indicates a distance from the subject to said object in the surrounding environment. The feedback signal is generated based on the estimated point of regard and the spatial data, and may reflect the distance to a surface element of an object that intersects a straight line between an eye-base line of the subject and the estimated point of regard, which surface element is located closer to the eye-base line than any other surface element of the objects in the surrounding environment along said straight line.

  • Patent number: 11275437
Abstract: A method and a corresponding apparatus for mitigating motion sickness in a virtual reality VR/augmented reality (AR) system using a head mounted display (HMD) are disclosed. The method comprises receiving data from a sensor indicating a current orientation of the HMD in real space, and superimposing a visual indication on a display of the HMD. The visual indication provides visual information to a user of the current orientation of the HMD in real space. • Publication number: 20210342000
Abstract: Techniques for interacting with a first computing device based on gaze information are described. In an example, the first computing device captures a gaze direction of a first user of the first computing device by using an eye tracking device. The first computing device displays a representation of a second user on a display of the first computing device. Further, the first computing device receives from the first user, communication data generated by an input device. The first computing device determines if the gaze direction of the first user is directed to the representation of the second user. If the gaze direction of the first user is directed to the representation of the second user, the first computing device transmits the communication data to a second computing device of the second user.
