  • Publication number: 20230417094
Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a body including a cab, a door assembly, and a linkage assembly. The door assembly is coupled to the cab and includes a first door panel and a second door panel. The first door panel is rotatably coupled to the second door panel and has an unfolded position and a folded position. The linkage assembly is configured to reposition the door assembly between a closed position and an open position relative to the cab. In a first state the door assembly is in the closed position the second door panel is in the unfolded position, and in a second state the door assembly is in the open position and the second door panel is in the folded position. The linkage assembly may include a first linkage coupled between the cab and the door assembly and a second linkage coupled between the cab and the door assembly.

  • Publication number: 20230278425
Abstract: A refuse vehicle includes a controller having a processor and at least one memory. The controller is in communication with a control console on a first side of a cab and a control console on a second side of a cab. The controller is configured to detect a presence of an operator in a seat on the first side or a seat on the second side based on a signal from a camera, a weight sensor, or an ignition, and in response to detecting the presence of an operator on the first side of the cab, enable a vehicle operator interface of the control console on the first side and disable a vehicle operator interface of the control console on the second side.

  • Patent number: 8573157
Abstract: An improved livestock feeder provided with an adjustable feed dispensing mechanism including control levers which are operatively connected to the feed metering gates to control the flow of feed to livestock. The dispensing mechanism features a control lever which engage an array of indexing holes formed in the feeder to position the feed gate within the opening to adjust the amount of feed dispensed from the hopper. The dispensing mechanism includes a graduated scale corresponding to each of the index holes to provide a standard setting for the feeder which can be utilized by an animal producer to supply of feed flow at a given stage in the animal's life cycle to obtain a desired growth rate.

  • Publication number: 20070137585
Abstract: A feed hopper is located above a feed pan to dispense feed by gravity flow into the feed pan. Partitions divide the animal feeder to accommodate multiple animals simultaneously. A user adjustable feed gate controls the feed portion and rate of feed dispensed and animal actuated mechanical agitators ensure the entire feed portion is received. The animal feeder contains a watering system to deliver water and feed, either mixing water and feed or keeping them separate, while the animal is using the feeder. The side wall of the feed pan is adjustable in vertical and horizontal dimensions between a raised position and a lowered position. Thus, the feeder can accommodate animals of different sizes or animals throughout growth stages.
