  • Publication number: 20240117073
Abstract: The present invention relates to specific binding members, particularly antibodies and fragments thereof, which bind to amplified epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and to the de2-7 EGFR truncation of the EGFR. In particular, the epitope recognized by the specific binding members, particularly antibodies and fragments thereof, is enhanced or evident upon aberrant post-translational modification. These specific binding members are useful in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. The binding members of the present invention may also be used in therapy in combination with chemotherapeutics or anti-cancer agents and/or with other antibodies or fragments thereof.

  • Publication number: 20190213621
Abstract: A deal value metric (or “deal score”) enables consumers to identify the quality of a ticket listing, and facilitates direct comparison of available event tickets having varying quality throughout a venue. The deal value metric disclosed herein also permits simultaneous comparison of tickets among multiple similar events, and provides a helpful criterion to supplement conventional search filters such as location or price.

  • Patent number: 8892068
Abstract: A subscriber device receives a message from a network device external to the subscriber device, where the network device implements a first metering engine that meters usage of a network service by a subscriber using the subscriber device and where the message includes the subscriber's usage data. The subscriber device includes a second usage metering engine that receives the subscriber's usage data from the usage synchronization unit, and performs real-time metering of the subscriber's usage of the network service, based on the subscriber's usage data received from the network device and independently of the first metering engine of the network device, to generate real-time usage metering data. The second usage metering engine further outputs the real-time usage metering data to a display at the subscriber device.

  • Publication number: 20140234407
Abstract: The method for increasing lactose tolerance in subjects exhibiting lactose intolerance symptoms implements a protocol where the subjects ingest a gradually increasing amount of lactose containing product over a six week period. At various points during the six week period the subject ingests the lactose containing product once a day and then twice a day. The lactose containing product can be in liquid form, such as for example, milk, and is preferably in a powder form which is taken either by ingesting capsules having the lactose powder or in a granular form mixed with water or other non-lactose containing liquid. At the end of the six week period, the subject's tolerance for lactose containing products is substantially increased, with the potential of eliminating the subject's lactose intolerant behavior indefinitely.

  • Patent number: 8588109
Abstract: A system includes a device that receives a lawful intercept request from a law enforcement agency, and determines whether a packet data lawful intercept or a session initiation protocol (SIP)-based applications (SBA) lawful intercept is requested by the lawful intercept request. The device also provisions, when a packet data lawful intercept is requested by the lawful intercept request, a policy control and charging rules function (PCRF) and a packet data network (PDN) gateway (PGW) for the packet data lawful intercept. The device further provisions, when a SBA lawful intercept is requested, a proxy call session control function. (P-CSCF), a serving-CSCF (S-CSCF), and a session border controller (SBC) for the SBA lawful intercept.

  • Patent number: 8494522
Abstract: Identification of radio coverage of a mobile station (MS) via a pico cell, such as an IP-BTS in a user premises (e.g. residence or business customer location), enables a mobile/wireless service provider to differentiate between coverage under a pico cell and coverage under a macro network. In a disclosed example, when the MS requests registration/authentication through a pico cell, a related signaling message includes a pico cell identifier (pID). A home location register (HLR) is provisioned with a pID, so that the HLR can decide to accept or reject the registration/authentication requests. For example, if the particular MS is provisioned for services from a specific pico cell, the HLR will grant the registration/authentication and allow the network to process calls for the mobile station through the identified pico cell. This enables the provider to allow discounted services through pico cell, e.g. as a replacement for a landline.

  • Patent number: 8260258
Abstract: Provisioning of target related information into an IP Multi-media Subsystem (IMS) communications network, to provide lawful intercept, utilizes an interface between a lawful intercept server (LIS) and one or more of the Home Subscriber Servers (HSSs) of the network. The LIS provisions an HSS with target information for LI, with respect to a subset of the overall list of LI targets, that is to say with respect to those of targets homed on the respective HSS. The HSS provisions the target list for its subset down to Call Session Control Function elements (CSCFs) logically attached to that HSS, to enable each CSCF to intercept signaling messages relating to communication for identified target user equipment (UE) devices. The intercepted signaling enables the LIS to identify a location of a target UE device in an access network and instruct a network control point to intercept content of communications for that UE device.

  • Publication number: 20110141947
Abstract: A method and a system provide integrated lawful intercept, for IMS over an Evolved Packet Core (EPC), for both packet data and session initiation protocol (SIP)-based applications. The system includes a device that receives a lawful intercept request from a law enforcement agency, and determines whether a packet data lawful intercept or a SIP-based applications (SBA) lawful intercept is requested by the lawful intercept request. The device also provisions, when a packet data lawful intercept is requested by the lawful intercept request, a policy control and charging rules function (PCRF) and a packet data network (PDN) gateway (PGW) for the packet data lawful intercept. • Publication number: 20070133147
Abstract: A multilayer electronic component includes a plurality of dielectric layers interleaved with a plurality of first and second polarity electrode layers. Internal and/or external anchor tabs may also be selectively interleaved with the dielectric layers. Portions of the electrodes and anchor tabs are exposed along the periphery of the electronic component in respective groups and thin-film plated deposition is formed thereon by electroless and/or electrolytic plating techniques. A solder dam layer is provided over a given component surface and formed to expose predetermined areas where solder barrier and flash materials may be deposited before attaching solder preforms. Some embodiments include plated terminations substantially covering selected component surfaces to facilitate with heat dissipation and signal isolation for the electronic components.

  • Publication number: 20070096254
Abstract: Low inductance capacitors include electrodes that are arranged among dielectric layers and oriented such that the electrodes are substantially perpendicular to a mounting surface. Vertical electrodes are exposed along a device periphery to determine where termination lands are formed, defining a narrow and controlled spacing between the lands that is intended to reduce the current loop area, thus reducing the component inductance. Further reduction in current loop area and thus component equivalent series inductance (ESL) may be provided by interdigitated terminations. Terminations may be formed by various electroless plating techniques, and may be directly soldered to circuit board pads. Terminations may also be located on “ends” of the capacitors to enable electrical testing or to control solder fillet size and shape. Two-terminal devices may be formed as well as devices with multiple terminations on a given bottom (mounting) surface of the device.
