  • Publication number: 20160352438
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate the determination of an outdoor electronic unit (ODU)-type based upon a signal analysis. A device may perform an analysis of a signal received from an ODU, wherein the analysis identifies one or more properties of the signal, the properties including a peak frequency of the signal. The device may then compare the identified signal properties to one or more properties of one or more predetermined spectral configurations, each spectral configuration being associated with an ODU-type. The device may identify an ODU-type associated with a spectral configuration that includes at least one property overlapping a property of the analyzed signal, and the device may determine that the ODU is of the identified ODU-type. In embodiments, the device may determine whether the ODU is using a passive or active configuration.

  • Patent number: 9323425
Abstract: Various methods, systems, and computer program products for deferring transmission of data related to collapsing a collapsible display panel are presented. The collapsible display panel may be collapsed. State data that indicates the collapsible display panel has been collapsed may be generated. A determination that no non-state change data corresponding to the collapsible display panel needs to be transferred to a server may be made. In response, the state data may be stored at least until non-state data is to be transmitted to the server. At some time after storing the state data, non-state data that is to be transmitted to the server may be identified. In response to identifying the non-state data that is to be transmitted to the server, the state data and the non-state data may be transmitted to the server together.

  • Patent number: 8917965
Abstract: A laser optical fiber storage device (10,100) for temporarily storing a free end (12a) of an elongated flexible laser optical fiber (12). A storage housing (14,114) with an open end (116) has an elongated flexible tube (28,128) disposed therein to receive the elongated flexible laser optical fiber so as to prevent laser light from escaping the storage housing. A restrictor (32, 117a, 117b) within the storage housing reduces the inner diameter of the elongated flexible tube. Further, a laser optical fiber storage device (40,100) for temporarily storing a free end (12a) of an elongated flexible laser optical fiber (12) is provided with a clamp (42,123). The storage housing (41,114) has an open end (41a, 116) and an elongated flexible tube (28,128) disposed within the storage housing to receive the elongated flexible laser optical fiber so as to prevent laser light from escaping the storage housing. A laser fiber clamp (42,123) is mounted to the open end to secure the laser optical fiber.

  • Patent number: 8902322
Abstract: An imaging system comprises four image sensors each pointing outwardly from the vertices of a notional tetrahedron with the optical axes of the image sensors substantially collinear with respective medians of the notional tetrahedron, with the focal plane array of each image sensor positioned between the lens system of its respective image sensor and the centroid of the notional tetrahedron. The imaging system and can be used to obtain image data for generating a spherical image of the space surrounding the imaging system. A method for generating a spherical image from this image data assigns spherical coordinates to the pixels in the images according to a cylindrical projection that is individually aligned with the image plane of each image, and blends overlapping pixels and fills blank pixel spaces. The method can be applied to image data representing outward views from the vertices or centroids of faces of any Platonic solid.
