  • Publication number: 20230100873
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first processor to be communicatively coupled to a main memory having instructions stored therein. The first processor is to execute the instructions to assign a first tag to a plurality of granules in a first portion of memory allocated for an offloaded function invoked by a module running on a second processor, detect an exception raised for a tag check failure for a memory access operation based on a first memory address in the first portion of the memory, and update a modified address list to include information associated with the first memory address. The instructions are executed further to synchronize, based on the modified address list, a second portion of the memory allocated to the module with the first portion of the memory.

  • Patent number: 8143111
Abstract: A system and method for configuring an integrated circuit. Embodiments include a method for manufacturing an integrated circuit (IC), comprising associating configuration items of the integrated circuit with at least one fuse of at least one type of fuse, wherein a fuse comprises a bit field and a physical fuse, and configuring the integrated circuit by setting the at least one fuse to a value, comprising logically combining multiple fuse values to determine a particular configuration, wherein at least one of the fuse values is not alterable after manufacture of the IC.

  • Publication number: 20080126207
Abstract: A method involves associating a plurality of readable tags having user identifiers with a plurality of users, storing the user identifier of each of the readable tags in a database, and reading the tags using a plurality of tag readers disposed across a transportation network as the users carrying the tags traverse portions of the network. The identifier of the tag reader reading a tag is stored in association with a user identifier of the tag that was read, and transportation network usage is determined by the plurality of users based on the tag reader identifiers stored in the database. When transportation network usage for a given readable tag exceeds a transportation network usage minimum threshold, a reward is given to the user associated with the given readable tag.

  • Patent number: 7343512
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling clock rates of circuits are provided. The systems and methods, collectively referred to as clock rate control, generate a clock rate control parameter from data of one or more fuses. The clock rate control detects any overclocked signal of received clock signals by determining a clock signal is running faster than a threshold represented by the clock rate control parameter. The clock rate control controls a circuit clock rate using a selected signal of the clock signals that is not an overclocked signal.
