  • Patent number: 11980726
Abstract: Some embodiments of a medical device anchor system include an anchor device that secures a medical instrument (such as a catheter or the like) in place relative to a skin penetration point using subcutaneous anchors. In some implementations, the anchor device can be installed using a technique in which the subcutaneous anchors undergo relatively little or no flexing when being inserted through the skin into the subcutaneous region between the skin and underlying muscle tissue which may be occupied by fatty tissue.

  • Publication number: 20240082545
Abstract: Some embodiments of a medical device anchor system include an anchor device that receives a medical instrument (such as a catheter or the like) and secures the instrument in place relative to a skin penetration point. In some circumstances, the anchor device may allow the anchor device to be used after medical instrument is already in place without the need for a second penetration point for the anchor device.

  • Patent number: 5450536
Abstract: A data processing system is programmed for automatically resizing a table to preserve its original appearance. The table is resized when a cell size changes or when an explicit request from the user is received. The resizing seeks to preserve the relative dimensions of cells in the table as much as possible. The resizing occurs automatically without user intervention. The table may be part of a publication in a desktop publishing system.

  • Patent number: 5274751
Abstract: A system and method for converting coordinates on a computer graphics system so that objects drawn on a computer display screen will have the dimensions and location intended by the user when the object is printed. The user draws lines on the display screen, with the lines being aligned with marks on rulers which are also displayed along each axis of the display screen. The ruler marks are labeled in units, such as millimeters, which are often impossible to accurately display on the computer screen. The system then converts the coordinates to a high resolution coordinate system value that corresponds to the position and size of the object in relation to the labeled marks on the ruler. When the display screen is printed, the object is printed in accordance with the labels on the rulers rather than the displayed image of the object on the computer screen.
