  • Patent number: 11797056
Abstract: Example stylus holders for an electronic device are disclosed. In an example, the stylus holder includes a sleeve that is to receive a stylus therethrough. In addition, the stylus holder includes an actuation assembly coupled to the sleeve. The actuation assembly includes a cam that is magnetically actuated by the stylus to extend the sleeve through an aperture in an external surface of the electronic device.

Date of Patent: October 24, 2023
    Assignee: HEWLETT-PACKARD DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, L.P.
Inventors: Andrew Shane Elsey, Derek Kyle Joseph Kanas
  • Patent number: 11725489
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for intelligent, real-time monitoring and managing of changes in oilfield equilibrium to optimize production of desired hydrocarbons and economic viability of the field. In some examples, a method can involve generating, based on a topology of a field of wells, a respective graph for the wells, each respective graph including computing devices coupled with one or more sensors and/or actuators. The method can involve collecting, via the computing devices, respective parameters associated with one or more computing devices, sensors, actuators, and/or models, and identifying a measured state associated with the computing devices, sensors, actuators, and/or models.

  • Patent number: 11714450
Abstract: Example stylus holders for an electronic device are disclosed herein. In an example, the stylus holder is coupled to an outer housing of the electronic device. In addition, the stylus holder includes a sleeve that is to transition between: an extended position, in which the sleeve is projected out of the aperture of the outer housing; and a retracted position, in which the sleeve is retracted into the aperture of the outer housing from the extended position. Further, the stylus holder includes a biasing member disposed within the outer housing and coupled to the sleeve. The biasing member is to bias the sleeve toward the retracted position when the sleeve is in the extended position.

  • Publication number: 20230101209
Abstract: An example electronic device is disclosed that includes a housing including a first external cover and a second external cover opposite the first external cover. In addition, the electronic device includes an electronic component disposed within the housing, between an inner surface of the first external cover and an inner surface of the second external cover. The electronic component is mounted to the first external cover with a mounting screw assembly, and the mounting screw assembly is engaged with the inner surface of the second external cover.

  • Publication number: 20230021406
Abstract: Example connection ports for electronic devices are disclosed. In an example, the connection port includes a longitudinal axis, a receptacle that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis, and a substrate disposed within the receptacle. The substrate includes an end and a support surface that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis. In addition, the connection port includes a plurality of first electrical contacts on the support surface, a plurality of second electrical contacts on the end. Each second electrical contact is electrically coupled to a corresponding one of the first electrical contacts.
