  • Publication number: 20210318201
Abstract: Disclosed is a fluid leak detection system for monitoring leaks in a pressurized vessel. The system includes a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, and a processing module. The processing module is configured to any one or combination of: compare a temperature output from the temperature sensor to a reference temperature to produce a temperature differential; or compare a pressure output from the pressure sensor to a reference pressure to produce a pressure differential. The processing module is configured to any one or combination of: monitor the pressure differential to indicate when a leak occurs in a pressurized vessel; or monitor the temperature differential to indicate when a leak occurs in a pressurized vessel. The processing module is configured to generate an alert when a leak is detected.

  • Publication number: 20210269331
Abstract: Systems and methods for dewatering slurries having relatively high solids content such as earthen slurries are disclosed. In some embodiments, one or more transducer devices configured for acoustic spectroscopy and/or electroacoustic spectroscopy are used to determine a parameter related to the particle size distribution (e.g., specific surfaced area) and/or zeta potential of the slurry.

  • Publication number: 20210087784
Abstract: Systems for reducing or preventing pluggage of spoil material in an excavation vacuum apparatus are disclosed. The pluggage prevention system of the excavation vacuum apparatus may trigger one or more mitigation operations (e.g., addition of water through spray nozzles) to loosen the build-up of spoil material and/or to at least partially shut down the excavation vacuum apparatus to prevent more material being fed to the system.
