  • Publication number: 20220395546
Abstract: This disclosure describes extraction methods that allow for the release of large amounts of phytochemicals (e.g., cannabinoids) into a lipid phase, resulting in a high yield method, even in the absence of any organic solvents. As described herein, a naturally occurring lipid phase (e.g., from oilseeds) can be used.

  • Patent number: 9062875
Abstract: An LED light source includes a plurality of longitudinal extrusions arranged in an array, the extrusions having an upper and lower end, an interior longitudinal slot, and outside longitudinal grooves. A printed circuit board is fitted and supported within the extrusion slots and has wiring. A plurality of LEDs is connected in series to the wiring, spacedly mounted along the board. High frequency electronic driver means is connected in series to the LEDs on the printed circuit boards and adapted to be further connected to a DC power source. A power supply for connection to and converting available AC to DC, is connected to the driver means. Lenses have ends fitted within the extrusion grooves, the lenses spaced from and covering the printed circuit boards and LEDs thereon. Upper and lower end caps are affixed to the upper and lower ends of the extrusions, respectively, and hold the printed circuit boards and lenses in place. A means is provided for connecting the light source to an external fixture.

  • Patent number: 8356911
Abstract: A lighting source comprises a plurality of LED tubular lighting fixtures having upper and lower ends. Upper and lower mounting caps positioned at the ends of the fixtures have cups for receipt of the fixture ends that locate the fixtures within the caps in a pattern and allow for rotation of the fixtures within the cups. A locking bar extends between the mounting caps, for sealing the ends of the fixtures within the cups against the mounting caps and prevents further rotation of the fixtures. A circuit board located on the upper mounting cap is connected electrically to the LED fixtures. Wires extending from the upper ends of the tubular fixtures pass through apertures in the cups of the upper mounting caps to push connectors on the circuit board for connection to an external DC power source.

  • Patent number: 8115393
Abstract: A tubular LED lighting fixture comprises: a heat sink shell; a printed circuit board supported on the shell and having an upper surface and a bottom surface, longitudinally extending laterally spaced wiring on the upper and bottom surfaces, and, transverse heat pipes running through the printed circuit board; a plurality of LEDs connected in series across the laterally spaced upper surface wiring and spacedly mounted along the printed circuit board; a high frequency electronic driver mounted in the shell and connected in series with the LEDs; voltage limiting devices mounted across the laterally spaced bottom surface wiring of the printed circuit board and in parallel with the LEDs; a lens bonded to the shell covering the printed circuit board for directing and delivering light from the LEDs, the shell and lens forming a tube for enclosing the LED bearing printed circuit board; the tube so formed having sealed ends to form a watertight fixture; and, input wires extending from the high frequency electronic dri
