  • Publication number: 20240330161
Abstract: Techniques for testing and fault detection are disclosed. These techniques include generating a set of test cases for a system under test (SUT), the set of test cases based on attribute-value pairs modeled as input to the SUT. The techniques further include augmenting the set of test cases. This includes locating a missing counterpart for a first combination of values in a first test case in the set of test cases, based on identifying a number of instances of the first combination of values in the set of test cases, generating a new test case based on modifying the first test case to act as the missing counterpart, and adding the new test case to the set of test cases. The techniques further include identifying a fault for the SUT based on executing the augmented set of test cases.

  • Patent number: 12107423
Abstract: A method and system for supplying power at a voltage selected from a plurality of voltages. Power is initially received at a first voltage. Embodiments communicate with an AC adapter to get device identification and see if the AC adapter supports other voltages. If so, embodiments communicate with the AC adapter to get more information about the adapter and identify what voltages the adapter is capable of providing. If one of the voltages would allow an information handling system to operate more efficiently, embodiments negotiate a power supply contract to operate at a second voltage. When the information handling system powers down, the system resets to operation at the initial voltage.

  • Publication number: 20240316487
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for using a sweep gas to collect and recover leaked gas. In some embodiments, Helium or Hydrogen is stored in an inner conduit. As light Helium or Hydrogen leaks through the inner conduit, a sweep gas flows through an annular space between the inner conduit and an outer conduit to collect the Helium or Hydrogen. Then, the Helium or Hydrogen is separated from the rest of the sweep gas where the Helium or Hydrogen can be stored again or distributed and sold. In other embodiments, the annular space is between a liner and a steel pipe, and a sweep gas through the annular space protects the steel pipe from Hydrogen that leaks from the liner into the annular space. The embodiments described herein greatly lower the cost for storing or transporting gas such as Helium or Hydrogen at a much higher volume scale.

  • Publication number: 20240311289
Abstract: A method to address memory in nodes of a distributed memory system includes partitioning the memory in each node into one or more memory blocks available for a global memory pool. The method also includes combining, in response to a request to address memory in the global memory pool, a global bit from a global page table with a physical address to generate a global virtual address. The global bit indicates whether the memory is local or remote. The method also includes translating, using global access tuple (GAT) tables, the global virtual address to a global physical address, and addressing a memory block in the global memory pool based on the global physical address.

  • Publication number: 20240307668
Abstract: An expandable introducer sheath with an interlock dilator. The present technology provides an expandable sheath with a step feature inside its distal opening, and a dilator with an interlock that includes a catch surface configured to engage with the step feature and resist further relative movement so that the body of the dilator is prevented from exiting the distal end of the expandable sheath. This interlocking engagement may allow the dilator to be used to extend and maintain tension on the expandable sheath during insertion into a patient, and then to be retracted from the expandable sheath by pulling the dilator in the opposite direction. The present technology also provides a dilator hub with a spring mechanism configured to achieve and maintain a desired tension on the expandable sheath and to prevent overextension of the expandable sheath when the dilator is being inserted into the expandable sheath.
