Patent number: 11861389Abstract: Systems and methods are described for compiling a specified instruction from a first virtual application to a second virtual application. Each virtual application may be associated with different programming languages. In an example method, a computing device receives a request to execute the specified instruction in the second virtual application. A target data structure may be created, using a library of the second virtual application, where a template directory may be stored. First syntax features, each defining a respective variable may be identified. An abstract syntax tree may be used to derive, for each first syntax feature, a modified definition for the respective variable. Second syntax features may be generated that define the respective variables more precisely than the first syntax features. The specified instruction may be rendered the second virtual application and may be expressed via the second syntax features and their respective variables.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2021Date of Patent: January 2, 2024Assignee: Red Hat, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Goulding, Andrew Toth, Aneesh Puttur

Publication number: 20210315335Abstract: A binder device including a body having a first cover and a second cover directly or indirectly pivotally coupled together and at least partially defining an inner compartment therebetween. The body further includes a binding mechanism positioned in the inner compartment, a first body securing device coupled to the body, and a second body securing device coupled to the body. The binder device includes a strap including first and second strap segments. The strap is movable between a first configuration wherein the first and second strap segments are releasably coupled together to form a continuous strap that is wearable over a shoulder of a user, and a second configuration wherein the first strap segment is releasably coupled the first body securing device and the second strap segment is releasably coupled to the second body securing device such that the first and second strap segments each at least partially defines a loop.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2021Publication date: October 14, 2021Inventors: Noah E. Dingler, Patrick B. Nolan, Andrew Toth, Edward P. Busam, Richard H. Harris, Peter M. Bartlett

Publication number: 20160120280Abstract: A storage device including a body having an inner compartment, wherein the body has first and second outer portions and a middle portion positioned therebetween. The storage device further includes a strap attachable to the body in a first configuration wherein the strap is coupled to the body at or adjacent to the first and second outer portions and extends therebetween and is not coupled to the middle portion such that the strap is wearable over a shoulder of a user in a manner of a courier-type bag, and a second configuration wherein the strap is coupled to the body at or adjacent to the first and second outer portions and releasably slidably attached to the middle portion to thereby define a pair of loops. Each loop is shaped and configured to receive an arm of a user therethrough such that the storage device is wearable on a back of the user in the manner of a backpack.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2015Publication date: May 5, 2016Inventors: Noah E. Publication number: 20070090418Abstract: The present invention concerns, in part, a method for fabricating a silicon PIN detector component wherein three handle wafers are bonded to the wafer at varying points in the fabrication process. The utilization of three handle wafers during fabrication significantly ease handling concerns associated with what would otherwise be a relatively thin and fragile wafer, providing a stable and strong base for supporting those portions of the wafer that will constitute the PIN detector component. In a variant of the present invention, the third handle wafer comprises an optical element transparent in the wavelength of interest.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 12, 2005Publication date: April 26, 2007Inventors: Christopher Fletcher, Andrew Toth

Publication number: 20060254645Abstract: The present invention provides an improved gas transfer apparatus designed for enhanced purging of a pigtail and a process for effecting such purging. The improvement in the apparatus resides in an integrated system of components comprising: a surge chamber having a first end, a body and a second end, said first end in communication with the pigtail conduit, said body section of said surge chamber having a cross-section larger than the cross-section of said pigtail conduit and a second end in communication with said vessel containing said gas source; and, a purge gas source for delivery of a purge gas to said pigtail conduit whereby during an alternating cycle of pressurization of said pigtail with said purge gas and depressurization, optionally with application of vacuum within said pigtail conduit, impurities can be removed from within the pigtail conduit.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 13, 2005Publication date: November 16, 2006Inventors: Joseph Barker, Alexandre De Botelho, John Timothy Collins, Andrew Toth, Ronald Pearlstein
