  • Patent number: 12290198
Abstract: A convertible pillow includes a bedding pillow body and a transforming envelope. The bedding pillow body, having a first portion and a second portion, includes a pillow filler and a pillowcase containing the pillow filler therein to form a bedding pillow and having a skin contacting surface on one side and a covering surface on another side. The transforming envelope, which is integrally provided on the covering surface of the pillowcase and has an envelope opening and an envelope cavity, is shaped and sized to envelope at least a portion of the first portion and the second portion of the bedding pillow body in the envelope cavity via the envelope opening after the first portion and the second portion of the bedding pillow body are folded up on the skin contacting surface of the pillowcase to form a cushion body.

  • Patent number: 12239366
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure can overcome physical constraints associated with catheter introduction to facilitate the use of a catheter with a large distal portion as part of a medical procedure benefitting from such a large distal portion, such as, for example, cardiac ablation. More specifically, devices, systems, and methods of the present disclosure can compress an expandable tip of a catheter from an expanded state to a compressed state along a tapered surface of an insertion sleeve for advancement of the expandable tip into vasculature of a patient. The tapered surface of the insertion sleeve can, for example, apply compressive forces at an angle against the advancing expandable tip. As compared to other approaches to the application of compressive force to an expandable tip, compressing the expandable tip using an angled force can reduce the likelihood of unintended deformation of the expandable tip.

  • Patent number: 12238348
Abstract: A method for wireless capture of real-time audio and video at a live event using a mobile computing device includes receiving a data representation of a live audio signal corresponding to the live event via a wireless network. The method also includes processing the data representation of the live audio signal into a live audio stream. The method also includes initiating a video capture corresponding to the live event. The method also includes producing, concurrent with the video capture, a shareable video corresponding to the live event based on the captured video and the live audio stream.

  • Patent number: 5270523
Abstract: For mounting a magnetic stripe card reader's magnetic head, a plate spring made from a thin metal sheet having two opposite fixing wings bilaterally extending outwards from a square frame and longitudinally aligned with each other, wherein said square frame has two raised portions on a bottom edge thereof longitudinally aligned with the center line of said two opposite fixing wings and stopped against a magnetic head held therein. By means of a line contact, the magnetic head is automatically rotated to the best reading position against a magnetic stripe card to be read.
