  • Patent number: 10109196
Abstract: A traffic control monitoring and abnormality determination system and associated methods are disclosed for receiving and analyzing traffic controller input/output data during a learning phase to determine a model indicative of normal or healthy operation of the traffic controller in regulating traffic flow at an intersection and receiving and evaluating additional traffic controller input/output data against the model during an evaluation phase to determine whether an abnormality exists in operation of the traffic controller. If an abnormality is detected during the evaluation phase, the system may initiate a corrective action to resolve the abnormality such as sending an alarm signal to a traffic controller to cause the traffic controller to alter an operating state to resolve the abnormality.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 13, 2017
Date of Patent: October 23, 2018
Assignees: Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, Siemens Industry, Inc.
Inventors: Juan L. Aparicio Ojea, Brian Collum, Andrew Valdez, Bradley Wehrwein

  • Patent number: 7310917
Abstract: A hinged spreader board of a pre-set length with shaped ends is pivoted open inside a frame to mate with the inside faces of the sides of a frame and maintain the sides apart by the length of the board while attaching the frame to a wall. Additional hinged sections of pre-set lengths allow the spreader board to be opened to various lengths to accommodate frames of different widths. The frame spreader boards fold up for storage.

  • Patent number: 7252463
Abstract: A square channel shaped template of ultra-thin rigid plastic, metal or other material has one or more mating configurations of pencil-point-size marking holes in the two opposing faces of the channel. Each configuration of marking holes matches a configuration of screw holes on a door fixture or door hardware to be mounted on a door. Each configuration of holes may be distinguished by a visible line through the marking holes of each configuration. The template straddles an edge of a door at a measured distance along the edge and fits on the edge with the door closed in a door frame for marking either one or both sides of the door with a mating configuration of marks on the door for drilling.
