Publication number: 20250159428Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for visualizing sound coverage in a venue. An embodiment operates by receiving audio content from an audio source, analyzing a plurality of activated audio channels to determine properties of each audio signal within the plurality of activated audio channels, where the audio signal properties comprise one or more spectral, temporal, spatial components (e.g., energy, spectrum or directivity), receiving an audio system configuration of spatially clustered loudspeakers or sound beams of a venue, visualizing the properties of the audio signal based on a mapping of an intersection of a unique volumetric beam of colored light, representing the spectral, temporal, spatial components, with a portion of the venue and displaying the visualized audio signal as a virtual representation of sound coverage of the portion of the venue.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 15, 2025Publication date: May 15, 2025Applicant: Sphere Entertainment Group, LLCInventors: Yuan-Yi FAN, Neil Andrew WAKEFIELD

Patent number: 10319101Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to deriving spatial attributes for imaged objects utilizing three-dimensional (3D) information. A server may obtain 3D survey data about an object from a pre-existing source. The server may then receive image data describing the object from a user device. The server may then utilize range imagery techniques to build a 3D point cloud from imagery in a pixel space. The server may then utilize horizontal positioning to place the 3D point cloud in proximity to the 3D survey data. The server may then fit the 3D survey data to the 3D point cloud. Finally, the server may record measurements and absolute locations of interest from the 3D point cloud and send them to the user device.Type: GrantFiled: June 27, 2016Date of Patent: June 11, 2019Assignee: Quantum Spatial, Inc.Inventors: David Brandt, Andrew Wakefield, Logan McConnell, Anand Iyer

Publication number: 20040069156Abstract: This invention relates to apparatus of forming a row of sliced product, which has a lateral dimension when aligned in a row. The apparatus 10 includes a row former, generally indicated at 13 and a pattern former generally indicated at 14. The row former forms rows of, for example, tomato slices 16, which are delivered onto a receiving surface, formed by the belt of a conveyor 17. The conveyor 17 is driven intermittently to deliver slices 16 in their row 15 onto the first conveyor 18 of the pattern former 14. The row former 13 includes an inclined conveyor belt 31, which has slats 32 spaced along its length, the spacing being dictated by the lateral dimension of the sliced product to be handled. A series of wiper blades 33 are spaced along the conveyor 31, along the direction of travel. As the belt 31 is driven intermittently the slices are elevated and wiped into the spaces between the slats until rows are formed.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2003Publication date: April 15, 2004Inventors: John Nicholas Reed, Simon John Miles, Andrew Wakefield
