  • Publication number: 20240028799
Abstract: A method of determining an effect of wind on a flight path of a golf ball includes predictive modeling a flow of air through a null terrain with a processing system. The null terrain includes a three-dimensional digital model of a physical terrain and a physical feature. Changes of a wind speed, a wind direction, or a combination thereof of the flow of air are calculated with the processing system based on the predictive modeling of the wind speed and the wind direction through the null terrain. An output data set of predicted wind behavior is generated based on the calculated changes of wind speed, wind direction, or a combination thereof of the flow of air through the null terrain. An effect of wind behavior on the flight-path of the golf ball is predicted based on the output data set of predicted wind behavior.

  • Publication number: 20230112657
Abstract: This invention allows an end user (“client”) to access one of any number of devices via a server (or cluster of server instances). Each device may be in a different physical location and different location on the Internet or other network. Each device might also be behind a router or firewall that makes direct access to the device impossible. Clients may optionally be authenticated to ensure they are authorized to access a particular device, and devices may also be authenticated to verify their identity to prevent spoofing. Access to a device is achieved by tunneling network requests over a persistent connection that the device establishes when it first comes online.
