  • Publication number: 20210385213
Abstract: A device-to-device authentication method based on a virtual authentication code is provided. The method includes transmitting a first code, receiving a second code reflecting an authentication result for the first code from a verification device, wherein the second code includes a hash value and role information for the client device generated by the verification device based on the first code, generating a third code that is the virtual authentication code, based on the first code and the second code; and transmitting the third code to at least one second device related to the role information.

  • Patent number: 10453268
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for rendering graphics in augmented reality software based on the movement of a device in relation to a target object, in order to produce more desired rendering effects. An augmented reality graphic can be both scaled and shifted laterally compared to the target based on a position of the device, and can then be cropped to match the target. Scaling and shifting related to movement parallel to the target can be performed using a first (parallel) function, and scaling and shifting related to movement toward and away from the target can be performed using a second (perpendicular) function. Both functions can be chosen to ensure that an edge of the augmented image is not passed over so as to provide blank space.

  • Patent number: 10275341
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for usability testing of mobile applications on mobile devices. A usability test may be performed without the need for a usability lab environment or external recording devices, since usability software may be run on the mobile device of a user. The usability test may be associated with tasks that the user may be requested to complete. While the tasks are being performed, usability data can be gathered. Such usability data may be recorded by recording functions of the mobile device, where the recording functions may be associated with sensors of the mobile device. This enables usability testing that better simulates real conditions under which a user may typically utilize the mobile application and is more cost effective.

  • Patent number: 8183435
Abstract: The present invention relates to improved cultivars, varieties, lines or plants of annual medics (Medicago genus) wherein the majority of seed pods, upon reaching maturity, remain attached to their respective pedicels. In particular, the present invention relates to improved cultivars, varieties, lines or plants of annual medics (Medicago genus), having a mutant form of the gene for pod shedding, thereby resulting in a “pod holding” trait. The invention also extends to methods for isolating such plants. A yet further aspect of the invention relates to a method of transferring the “pod holding” trait from an annual medic having this trait to another annual medic of the genus Medicago by a process of controlled cross-breeding. A still further aspect of the invention relates to a method of obtaining plants having the “pod holding” trait from a population of annual medics of the genus Medicago.
