  • Patent number: 11972658
Abstract: An electronic gaming system is configured to provide a wagering session on an electronic gaming machine based upon one or more communications received from a mobile device of a player, where the communications indicate a signal strength of a wireless beacon relative to the mobile device. For example, the mobile device may provide a first communication indicating that the mobile device is within a first distance of the electronic gaming machine. In response, the wagering session may be provided or initiated. Likewise, during gameplay, the mobile device may provide a second communication indicating that the mobile device has moved to within a second distance of the electronic gaming machine. In response, the wagering session may be continued or terminated, depending upon, for example, a comparison of the second distance to a threshold second distance.

  • Patent number: 11967202
Abstract: An electronic gaming system is described. The electronic gaming system includes a management server including a processor and a memory device storing computer-readable instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive player identification data and game data. The instructions also cause the processor to request and receive, based upon the player identification data and from a player tracking server, player data associated with the player account, cause display, on a host device associated with a casino host, of at least a portion of the player data and the game data, and determine that the EGM should be disabled for a predetermined amount of time. The instructions further cause the processor to cause display of a message indicating that the EGM will be disabled and disable the EGM for the predetermined amount of time.

  • Patent number: 11928926
Abstract: A gaming system includes an electronic gaming machine (EGM) located within a defined zone of a gaming venue, a transmitter configured to output a first unique identifier, and a server including a processor and a memory storing instructions, where the instructions cause the processor to receive, in connection with a request at a mobile terminal to transfer funds to a gaming wallet accessible at the EGM, a communication from the mobile terminal including the first unique identifier, determine, based on the received first unique identifier, whether the mobile terminal is within the defined zone, and transmit, in response to determining whether the mobile terminal is within the defined zone, a signal to the mobile terminal indicating whether the mobile terminal is within the defined zone.

  • Publication number: 20230316859
Abstract: A quarantine wallet associated with a user account that support funds to be quarantined for a defined period. A user account server determines that a respective win amount satisfies one or more funds quarantine criteria and removes at least a portion of the win amount satisfying the one or more funds quarantine criteria from access by one or more wallets associated with a user account. The user account server stores the removed portion of the win amount as a quarantined fund amount in a quarantine wallet associated with the user account. The user account server sets a release time for the quarantined funds amount in the quarantine wallet and performs a transfer of the quarantined funds amount to the one or more wallets based on satisfying the release time.

  • Publication number: 20230075947
Abstract: A gaming activity monitoring system that includes a plurality of gaming devices and at least one server computer comprising one or more processors, a memory, and an interface. The memory stores instructions which when executed cause the one or more processors to receive user activity data corresponding to gaming related activity at one or more gaming venues and including identification data enabling the server to associate received user activity data with a respective user, process the received user activity data and one or more user triggers of the respective user stored in the memory in order to determine whether the received user activity data satisfies the one or more user triggers of the respective user, and trigger an action in respect of at least one gaming device of the plurality of gaming devices and/or the user's mobile device, in response to at least one of the user triggers being satisfied.
