  • Publication number: 20240297199
Abstract: A pixelated electronic sensor is disclosed for imaging from infra-red to ultraviolet wavelengths, composed of a CMOS integrated circuit plus layers of nano-materials monolithically integrated via low temperature post-processing. Co-design, simulation, and integration methods for the device are described. Each pixel has color-resolved single photon sensitivity without dark counts and without inefficiency. The device operates at temperatures above 70° Kelvin. Current state of the art imagers that can color-resolve single photons are of bolometric or filter type. Bolometric devices must operate at temperature below 1° Kelvin and are limited to few pixels. Devices that use filters are inefficient as all the photons rejected by a filter are wasted. Single photon imagers that operate at non-cryogenic temperature (like Silicon Photomultipliers) have large dark counts typically measured in MHz/cm2.

  • Patent number: 12077786
Abstract: Described herein are compositions and methods for identifying, selecting, or culturing cells comprising a subject nucleic acid sequence of interest. Generally, a nucleic acid comprising a subject nucleic acid and a sequence encoding an enzyme molecule involved in biosynthesis of an amino acid is introduced into a cell. The cell is then grown on media lacking the amino acid, such that cells comprising the introduced nucleic acid are capable of growth. In some instances, the cell further comprises an inhibitor of the enzyme molecule to increase the stringency of the selection.

  • Patent number: 11946966
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods to determine a direction to a ground fault of an electrical generator or motor using a known steady-state standing error referenced to a positive-sequence voltage measurement to determine a system standing error and utilizing the system standing error to determine an operating current with anomalies attributable to a fault. A ground fault may be determined using zero-sequence voltage signals from the generator or motor installation. The operating current, along with the zero-sequence voltage, may be used to determine a direction to the fault. The generator or motor may be high-impedance grounded. The systems and methods further indicate the direction to a fault where multiple generators or motors are connected to a common bus.

  • Publication number: 20240103620
Abstract: Gaze tracking data representing a user's gaze is analyzed to determine one or more regions of interest. One or more gaze tracking parameters are determined from the gaze tracking data. Adjusted foveation data is determined representing an adjusted size and/or shape of one or more regions of interest in one or more images to be subsequently presented to the user based on the one or more gaze tracking parameters. The compression of the one or more transmitted images is adjusted so that fewer bits are needed to transmit data for portions of an image outside the one or more regions of interest than for portions of the image within the one or more regions of interest. Adjusting compression includes eliminating the region(s) of interest from images that are presented to the user during the saccade or blink.

  • Publication number: 20240004466
Abstract: A method for updating information for a graphics pipeline including executing in the first frame period an application on a CPU to generate primitives of a scene for a first video frame. Gaze tracking information is received in a second frame period for an eye of a user. In the second frame period a landing point on an HMD display is predicted at the CPU based at least on the gaze tracking information. A late update of the predicted landing point to a buffer accessible by the GPU is performed in the second frame period. Shader operations are performed in the GPU in the second frame period to generate pixel data based on the primitives and based on the predicted landing point, wherein the pixel data is stored into a frame buffer. The pixel data is scanned out in the third frame period from the frame buffer to the HMD.

  • Patent number: 11836289
Abstract: Gaze tracking data representing a user's gaze is analyzed to determine one or more regions of interest. One or more gaze tracking error parameters are determined from the gaze tracking data including a rate of rotation of a user's eye with respect to one or more axes. An error in a fixation of the user's eye on a particular region of interest is determined.
