  • Patent number: 5577603
Abstract: The remote, self adjusting operator for a circuit breaker according to the present invention allows a circuit breaker toggle to be operated from the exterior of the an explosion-proof enclosure over the circuit breaker panel. The operator includes a shaft having one end extending outside of an enclosure door and another end extending inside the enclosure door. A handle is attached to the shaft at the exterior of the door and an operating fork is attached to the shaft at the inside of the door. The operating fork having a slot for receiving the toggle is designed to prevent damage to the circuit breaker toggle or the operating fork if the door is close when the fork is not properly aligned with the toggle. A spring is provided on the shaft between the fork and the inside surface of the door which allows the fork to move axially on the shaft when it engages the toggle. A sloped surface on the bottom of the fork will cause the fork to move across the toggle until the slot is aligned over the toggle.

  • Patent number: 5523932
Abstract: A lighting fixture with an adjustable reflector that will move to many different positions relative to the lamp and can be installed without tools and adjusted between positions with only one hand. The invention operates with an outwardly facing set of V-shaped notches at a first end of the lamp which mate with and an inwardly facing set of biased fingers at a first end of the reflector. The reflector is adjusted by manipulating it in a radial direction, thereby causing the biased fingers of the reflector to move across the V-shaped notches at the first end of the lamp.

  • Patent number: 4924365
Abstract: A lighting fixture has parabolic, asymmetric, adjustable reflectors longitudinally disposed in alignment with the lamps therein. The reflector is attached to the lighting fixture by a fastener and dimpled end plate. Dimpled end plate mounts to the end of reflector, which includes a recessed plate thereon having matching recesses for receiving the dimples. By rotating end plate and reflector with respect to the recessed plate, the orientation of the reflector may be circumferentially varied.
