Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing service to access nodes are presented. In some embodiments, a computing device may generate a geographical coverage map comprising a plurality of wireless access nodes respectively at a plurality of geographic locations and a wireless coverage range for each wireless access node. The computing device may receive from at least one wireless access node of the plurality of wireless access nodes an indication that the at least one wireless access node detected a first wireless access node of the plurality of wireless access nodes. The computing device may refine a first coverage range of the first wireless access node based on a respective geographic location of the at least one wireless access node. In some embodiments, a first wireless access node may receive and forward join emergency mesh (JEM) messages to establish a wireless network.

Abstract: A software interoperability system includes at least one processor, at least one computer-readable tangible storage device, and program instructions stored on the at least one storage device for execution by the at least one processor. The program instructions include first program instructions configured to map a program operation of a first programming type to a programming operation of a second programming type. The program instructions further include second program instructions configured to generate a first programming type representation of an object associated with the program operation of the second programming type based on the map. The program instructions further include third program instructions configured to effect an invoked instance of the first programming type representation via an interface associated with the second program type.

Abstract: A lightweight wire carrier made up of multiple components including a sectional or integral base, a vertical area and a top section. The components are joined together to allow the use of lighter and thinner materials while still retaining the requirements of existing tubular carriers.

Abstract: A transformer used to connect an electro-acoustic transducer to a transmitter and a receiver in a pulse-echo ranging system has a first winding connected to the transducer, and second and third windings connected in parallel to the transmitter and the receiver. The second winding has back-to-back diodes in series with it, and the third winding has several times more turns than the second winding, so that with high amplitude signals, as during transmission, the diodes conduct and render the second winding effective. With low amplitude signals, as during reception, the diodes isolate the second winding and the third winding acts to provide a relative step-up of the amplitude of the received signals.
