Abstract: A high bay compact fluorescent light fixture having a reflector/refractor mounted to a socket mounting plate assembly having a top portion, a bottom portion, and at least one sidewall. Removably mounted to the top portion of the socket mounting plate assembly is a ballast housing having a plurality of lamp powering ballasts located therein. A plurality of sockets are mounted to the bottom portion of the socket mounting plate assembly. The high bay compact fluorescent light fixture design eliminates the need for a collar to connect the reflector/refractor to the fixture and further makes the design more compact.
