  • Publication number: 20250223142
Abstract: A system, comprising at least one autonomous mobile robot (AMR); a lane grid generation system configured to generate a lane grid including route segments of the at least one AMR comprising computer program code executable by at least one processor to: drive the AMR in a first direction to demonstrate a route in a second direction opposite the first direction of the at least one AMR during an autonomous mode of the AMR; and determine a plurality of lanes for the AMR to provide loads within a full range of each of the plurality of lanes; and a navigation system configured to direct the movement of the at least one AMR based on the route segments.

  • Publication number: 20240184293
Abstract: A system and method are provided for a material flow automation process. In some embodiments, the system and/or method comprise: an input device that provides instructions of an instruction set regarding at least one destination of interest to at least one processor; a navigation system that navigates a vehicle in response to the instructions; and a controller that initiates a material flow task to be executed by the vehicle, wherein the controller receives at least one instruction of the instruction set during the execution of the material flow task by the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240182283
Abstract: A system and method are provided for a material flow automation process. In some embodiments, the system and/or method comprise: receiving a first input including a plurality of core material flow elements; receiving a second input including a variable parameter that includes a status of each of the core material flow elements; applying the parameter to the plurality of core material flow elements; determining a plurality of composable material flow logic patterns from the application of the variable parameter to the plurality of core material flow elements; and applying the composable material flow logic patterns for managing an automation of movement of a vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20240181645
Abstract: A system and method are provided that provides a framework for modeling repeatable tasks for robots, such as AMRs, to complete. Using the framework, jobs may be built using a software tool that allows users to create a series of steps that the robot will perform. Each step includes two elements: location and task, which may be presented by a processor to a user interface, allowing a user to fill in a location and task. By combining steps, an unlimited number of material flows may be created.

  • Publication number: 20240184302
Abstract: A system comprises a management system comprising at least one processor configured to define a set of queueing spaces associated with a workspace location for reach of a plurality of locations. In response to a request by an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for access to the location, the management system is configured to grant access to the requesting AMR if the location is unoccupied or direct the requesting AMR to a queueing space associated with the location if the location is occupied by another AMR. In response to a signal indicating the location has been exited by the other AMR, the management system is configured to send instructions to the requesting AMR granting access to the location.
