    Abstract: A robot is controlled by robot control instructions. The instructions may be generated remotely and then carried by or with another signal to the robot. In one embodiment, the robot control instructions are multiplexed with a media stream such as video and/or audio data. The multiplexed signal may be transmitted over an existing media distribution network such as a cable television network. The delivered instructions may be obtained from the feed and be used to control or re-program the robot and the media feed may be used in association with media devices operated synchronously with the robot.
