Invention fastening systems provide for the secure fastening of straps which employ a securing device such as a buckle, by providing anchor points to retain strap ends. In this manner, free-hanging strap ends are prevented, thus providing a secure, hassle-free system for retaining devices such as wristwatches, and the like.
