  • Patent number: 11815359
Abstract: A travel service system makes it possible for a driver to pick up a passenger quickly and accurately. The system obtains map information including real-scene picture information, determines a geographic coordinate, obtains a real-scene picture of the geographic coordinate, and analyzes the real-scene picture to identify a salient object in the real-scene picture. A preferable target position is determined on the basis of the identified salient object. The identified salient object and the preferable target position on the real-scene picture are marked. The real-scene picture with the marked salient object and the preferable marked target position are sent to a receiving terminal.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 17, 2019
Date of Patent: November 14, 2023
    Assignee: Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Sam Lai, Andy Liao

  • Patent number: 10369781
Abstract: A mobile printer includes an ultrasound sensor to sense a set of ultrasonically-sensed positional data points of a print nozzle of the printer, at least one optical sensor to sense a set of optically-sensed positional data points of the print nozzle, and a processor. The processor is to apply a correction function on the set of ultrasonically-sensed positional data points and on the set of optically-sensed positional data points to provide a set of corrected positional data points of the print nozzle and is to cause the print nozzle to deposit according to a print request and according to the set of corrected positional data points.

  • Publication number: 20180268039
Abstract: A computer implemented method for recommending car/passenger resources for a user includes extracting a trip including a start and a destination from location data of the user, wherein paths with the same start and the same destination are clustered into one trip, and generating time information corresponding to the trip, according to time data corresponding to the paths clustered into the trip, wherein the time information includes a range of departure time. The method includes calculating a frequency of occurrences for one trip within a predetermined time period as a habit value of the trip for the user. The trip, including the start and the destination, the time information corresponding to the trip, the habit value of the trip, and transport modality information indicating the user as a driver or a passenger, are combined to generate mobility habit data for the user.

  • Publication number: 20140032164
Abstract: A system includes plural emitters each associated with a stylus or other entity. Each emitter is independently displaceable over an area, and emits an electromagnetic signal modulated in accordance with a distinct pattern. A single sensor is configured to detect the plural emitters. Associated signal processing determines the identity and location of each emitter. Corresponding data is communicated to a computer for traversed pathway determination, recording, writing or character recognition, or other operations.

  • Patent number: 7176559
Abstract: An integrated circuit package includes a balanced-part structure. The condition of thermal stress of chips connected on a substrate decides the amount, locations, weights, and the material of at least a balanced-part fastened on a substrate. The balanced-part is fastened on the substrate to balance stress distribution before an adhering heat sinks process and a packaging molding compound process. The balanced-part also decreases thermal stress affection and avoid warpage defects of the integrated circuit packages.
