Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle interface device configured to output a haptic signal to indicate a potential hazard. The apparatus includes at least one haptic generator configured to generate a haptic signal; and a processor for controlling the haptic generator. The processor is configured to determine an angular position of the identified object relative to the vehicle in dependence on object data relating to an identified object representing a potential hazard. A control signal is generated to cause the haptic generator to output a haptic signal for providing an indication of the determined relative position of the identified object. The control signal is modified to progressively change the generated haptic signal to represent changes in the relative angular position of the identified object. The present disclosure also relates to a vehicle incorporating a vehicle interface device.

Abstract: A system for use in a vehicle having a selected vehicle language, the system comprising image capture means for capturing an image scene external to the vehicle, wherein the image scene includes one or more information indicator including text in a country language other than the selected vehicle language. A means is provided for outputting a vehicle language signal representative of the selected vehicle language to an off-board server; and a means is provided for outputting a country language signal to the off-board server which is representative of the country language. A means is also provided for outputting the text to the off-board server for translation from the country language into the vehicle language; together with means for receiving a translated text output from the off-board server which is representative of the translated text. A means is provided for communicating the translated text output to the vehicle user.

Abstract: A product display for selling household fixtures includes a display base, at least one wall provided adjacent the base, and a room mockup provided on said display base adjacent said at least one wall. The room mockup includes various display elements representing the household fixtures, and at least one of the display elements included has a set of alternate design features associated therewith. A selection pallet can be provided adjacent the room mockup. The selection pallet includes samples of alternate design features for the display elements.
