  • Patent number: 9085922
Abstract: With a lock for a front hood of a motor vehicle, a locking pawl engages about a rotary latch. This engagement creates a positive connection of the locking pawl to the rotary latch perpendicularly to their intended movement directions. This prevents that during a crash of the motor vehicle the locking pawl is separated from the rotary latch and the lock therefore unlocked.

  • Publication number: 20150090713
Abstract: A fuel filler door module for installation in a motor vehicle is provided with a trough body that can be placed in a vehicle body along with a fuel filler door pivoted to the trough body. The trough body exhibits an axial through opening for accommodating a fuel filler neck, and a radially outwardly projecting fastening edge for attachment to the motor vehicle body. The fastening edge has a flexible sealing element arranged on it with a first sealing section that forms a sealing abutment against an interior side of the fuel filler door, extends in the radial direction and can be deformed in an axial direction.

  • Patent number: 8967313
Abstract: A front hood is provided for a motor vehicle that includes, but is not limited to damping element of plastic arranged between a top structure and a bottom structure. The damping element is glued to the top structure and the bottom structure. In the event of a head impact on the front hood the deformation of the top structure is retarded by the damping element. The damping element in the process supports itself on the bottom structure.

  • Patent number: 8602674
Abstract: A device for connecting two components, in particular a linkage of bars (38) and an engine hood (40), includes a fastening element (10) and a securing element (24) cooperating with the fastening element (10). The fastening element (10) includes a fastening section (18) for connecting the fastening element (10) with the first component and a receiving section (12) for mounting the second component. The securing element (24) includes first and second securing sections (26, 28) and is transferable to a final assembly position, in which the first securing section (26) secures the connection of the fastening element (10) with the first component and at the same time the second securing section (28) secures the mounting of the second component in the receiving section (12).
