Abstract: An absorbent article 10 which has a dimension in a longitudinal direction which is greater than its dimension in a transverse dimension. The absorbent article 10 comprises a liquid pervious top sheet 1 a liquid impervious back sheet 2 vertically below the top sheet, and an absorbent core 3 provided between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorbent core has a first unconstrained form in which a section 6 of the absorbent core forms a protrusion from the remainder of the absorbent core in the vertical direction towards the top sheet, and a second unconstrained form in which the absorbent core has no substantive protrusion in the vertical direction. The absorbent core is capable of being changed between the first and second forms.

Abstract: An absorbent article with a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction and displaying a crotch part (7) and two end parts (5, 6) and comprising a liquid-permeable cover layer (2) intended to face towards a user during use, a liquid-impermeable cover layer (3) intended to face away from the user during use and an absorbent body (13) enclosed between the two cover layers (2, 3). The two cover layers (2, 3) have differing extensibility in the transverse direction of the article. A forming element (16; 514; 814), which is rigid in the transverse direction and which extends in the transverse direction of the article at least in the crotch part (7) is permanently attached to at least one component in the article, whereby compression of the article in the transverse direction will force the forming element (16; 514; 814) to curve in a direction towards the most extensible cover layer (2; 503; 802, 803).

Abstract: The invention relates to an absorbent product such as a sanitary napkin, a panty liner, an incontinence protector, or the like, intended during use to be arranged in the crotch region of a user in order to collect and absorb discharged body fluids, and which has means for fastening inside a pair of underpants. The product has a principally elongated shape with a longitudinal center-line and a transverse center line and comprises an upper part intended during use of the product to be facing towards the user and a lower part intended during use of the product to be facing away from the user. The two parts are mutually joined and each have a front part, intended during use of the product to be facing forwardly towards the abdomen of a user, as well as a rear part intended during use of the product to be facing rearwardly towards the behind of the user.

Abstract: A pant diaper or a sanitary panty which includes a front part, a rear part, and an intermediate crotch part, which includes an absorbent body enclosed between an inner and an outer casing sheet. The front part is detachably joined to the rear part by means of a first fastening. A piece of flexible material extends over the front part and is joined thereto over a larger part of its surface by means of a first releasable fastening, which extends on both sides of a centrally located region of the piece of material, from the edges of the central region to the respective side edges of the front part. The piece of material is also joined to the rear part.
