Patent number: 11474970Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques for interrupt and inter-processor communication (IPC) mechanisms that are shared among computer processors. For example, an artificial reality system includes a plurality of processors; an inter-processor communication (IPC) unit comprising a register, wherein the IPC unit is configured to: receive a memory access request from a first processor of the processors, wherein the memory access request includes information indicative of a hardware identifier (HWID) associated with the first processor; determine whether the HWID associated with the first processor matches an HWID for the register of the IPC unit; and permit, based on determining that the HWID associated with the first processor matches the HWID for the register of the IPC unit, the memory access request to indicate a communication from the first processor to at least one other processor.Type: GrantFiled: December 24, 2019Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: Meta Platforms Technologies, LLCInventors: Jun Wang, Neeraj Upasani, Wojciech Stefan Powiertowski, Drew Eric Wingard, Gregory Edward Ehmann, Marco Brambilla, Minli Lin, Miguel Angel Guerrero

Patent number: 5609854Abstract: A cosmetic composition is provided which includes water, an emollient oil, a sunscreen agent and an aluminum salt of a C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 carboxylic acid. Preferred as the aluminum salt is aluminum citrate, the latter not only thickening but also stabilizing the emulsion against breakage.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 1995Date of Patent: March 11, 1997Assignee: Elizabeth Arden Company, Division of Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Angel A. Guerrero, Thomas C. Klepacky, Pamela C. Asplund

Patent number: 5505935Abstract: A cosmetic sunscreen composition is described that includes an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an acrylic polymer such as poly(methyl methacrylate) and a chromophoric organic sunscreen agent capable of absorbing ultraviolet radiation within the range 290 to 400 nm. The ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer and acrylic polymer have been found to interactively boost the SPF value of the organic sunscreen.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 1994Date of Patent: April 9, 1996Assignee: Elizabeth Arden Company, Division of Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Angel A. Guerrero, Thomas C. Klepacky

Patent number: 5486352Abstract: A cosmetic sunscreen composition is described that includes an emulsion formed from water, an emollient oil and an organic sunscreen agent capable of absorbing ultraviolet radiation within the range of 290 to 400 nm. Further included in the sunscreen composition is a microfluidized medium formulated and microfluidized separately and prior to blending with the other aforementioned components. This medium includes water, a phospholipid, and an organic sunscreen agent identical to that in the emulsion. The combination of identical sunscreen agents in different environments provides an overall increase in SPF for the overall sunscreen composition.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1995Date of Patent: January 23, 1996Assignee: Elizabeth Arden CompanyInventor: Angel A. Patent number: 5455035Abstract: A cosmetic product formed as a multi-compartment dispenser is provided wherein a first and second substance is stored apart from one another in separate compartments. The first substance incorporates a liquid organic acid in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The second substance incorporates an alkaline agent present in an amount to neutralize the liquid organic acid to thereby form a surface active material.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 1994Date of Patent: October 3, 1995Assignee: Elizabeth Arden Company, Division of Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Angel A. Guerrero, Anthony Vargas, Alan J. Meyers

Patent number: 5425939Abstract: Thickened cosmetic compositions are provided based upon a thickening system that includes sclerotium gum and a hydrophobically-modified acrylate or methacrylate copolymer. The relative weight ratio of sclerotium gum to the polymer may range from about 1:1 to about 1:30. Compositions according to the present invention may also contain water-soluble vitamins. Interactive viscosity enhancement is particularly evident when free carboxylic groups present on the hydrophobically-modified acrylate or methacrylate copolymer are neutralized with a base thereby forming anionic carboxylate groups.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 1994Date of Patent: June 20, 1995Assignee: Elizabeth Arden Company, Division of Conopco, Inc.Inventors: Angel A. Guerrero, Thomas C. Klepacky
