Patent number: 12001837Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for two-way synchronization of infrastructure-as-code templates and instances, including a method comprising detecting changes to a run-time state of a system and, in response to detecting a change, triggering an update of a current run-time state model. The method may further comprise, in response to updating the run-time state model, comparing the updated model to a current model using a template in a local repository instantiated as the current model. The method may further comprise, in response to the comparison determining a structural difference between the updated model and the current model, merging the updated model and the current model into a new model; and updating a local clone of a repository of the template with the new model. The method may further comprise, in response to the comparison determining no structural difference between the updated model and the current model, pushing changes to a remote repository.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2022Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Joseph Paul Wigglesworth, Miguel Angel Jimenez Achinte, Gabriel Tamura, Hans Albert Muller, Ian Fraser Watts, Hugh Edward Hockett

Signaling device with "stop" and "position" functions using a light guide and generating a 3D effect
Publication number: 20120274462Abstract: A luminous signaling module, notably for automobile vehicles, comprising: a reflector; a screen disposed in front of the reflector, with a semi-reflecting area; radiating means adapted to emit light rays. The reflector, the screen and the radiating means being arranged in such a manner as to generate a repetitive visual effect of depth. The semi-reflecting area is configured and arranged relative to the radiating means in such a manner that a second portion of the light rays emitted by radiating means do not encounter the semi-transparent area.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2012Publication date: November 1, 2012Applicant: VALEO VISIONInventors: Juan Manuel Martinez, Alexandre Chotard, Jesus Romo, Miguel Angel Jimenez Villar, Eric Moisy, Jesus Lopez Centeno -
Publication number: 20120106804Abstract: A method for determining the recovery grade in artificial fiber carpets, such as artificial turf, including obtaining samples of the artificial fiber carpets to be examined in order to capture an image, by a camera and lightbulb under conditions of controlled exposure, of the area of the fibers which will subsequently be subjected to supporting a load. In a certain area of the fibers, in a vertical compressive manner, a load of known mass during a predetermined time is applied, for once the load is released, capturing elevational images, according to the same area of the fibers subjected to the load, at predetermined time intervals. The recovery index of the fibers subjected to analysis based on the area occupied by the fibers is determined before being subjected to the load and after the different predetermined time intervals.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2010Publication date: May 3, 2012Applicant: MONDO S.P.A.Inventors: Margarita Canales Compes, Miguel Angel Jimenez Caballero, Cristina Gomez Andres, Emanuel Testa

Publication number: 20070044580Abstract: The resolution of a differential mobility analyzer (DMA) and the range of valid mobility values for the charged particles that it can detect are increased. The DMA makes use of a flat configuration and a purely two-dimensional operating model in which shims are used for improved adjustment and precision of the parallel faces that make up the analysis area. The analyzer uses a closed and pressurized aerodynamic tunnel to establish a cross flow with a very high Reynolds number.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2006Publication date: March 1, 2007Inventors: Emilio Arcas, Angel Jimenez

Patent number: 7122315Abstract: The method consists of detecting an enteric virus in a test sample, where the detection of said enteric virus in said test sample indicates the existence of contamination. The method allows us to detect the presence or absence of enteric viruses in a test sample, and then to determine the existence of environmental contamination, especially faecal contamination of livestock origin, in the test sample and, therefore, the place where the test sample was taken. The characterisation and/or molecular or serological typification of the enteric virus detected and its comparison with that of other enteric viruses present in sources of contamination near to where the samples were taken for analysis, also allows us to identify the origin of said contamination.Type: GrantFiled: February 19, 2003Date of Patent: October 17, 2006Assignee: Instituto Nacional de Investigacion y Tecnologia Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA)Inventors: Victoria Ley Vega De Seoane, Miguel Angel Jimenez Clavero
