    Abstract: This invention describes ways of obtaining nano-particulated adjuvants formed by different synthetic variants of GM3 ganglioside. Depending on the fine structure of the fatty acid in the ceramide of the synthetic GM3, said adjuvants are able to stimulate specifically and in a specialized way the humoral or cellular immune response against accompanying antigens. Particularly, this invention provides immunogenic vaccine compositions that comprise peptides, polypeptides or proteins and the aforementioned nanoparticles, which are formed through the dispersion of hydrophobic proteins of the outer membrane complex (OMC) of Neisseria meningitidis in solutions containing fully synthetic variants of the GM3 ganglioside.

    Abstract: A method includes optimizing a video quality of a video data stream received by a user in a video conference. A region of at least one frame of the video data stream may be sampled. The sampling rate may be variable based on the rate of change of objects in the video data stream. A video quality metric corresponding to the video quality of the video data stream may be calculated. The video quality of the video data stream may be adjusted based on the video quality metric. Another method includes retrieving a video and detecting one or more moving regions of interest (ROIs). Each of the ROIs is tagged with metadata configured to allow users to interact with the ROI, and the detected ROIs and their corresponding metadata are stored in a file. Based on the file, playback of the video and movement of the ROIs may be synchronized.

A catalog locate is performed for each of a plurality of data sets on a base catalog structure (BCS), identifying a plurality of BCS entries. If a first BCS entry is cataloged incorrectly, the first BCS entry is designated to be re-cataloged. The plurality of BCS entries is compared with a plurality of volume table of contents and a plurality of VSAM volume data set (VTOC/VVDS) entries. If a second BCS entry found in the plurality of BCS entries is not found in the plurality of VTOC/VVDS entries, and the second BCS entry indicates that a data set associated with the second BCS entry is located on a volume, an attempt is made to vary on the volume. If the volume cannot be varied on, a request is created to restore the volume.

    Abstract: The embodiment this patent proposes is a User Interface (Portal) for Smart TV devices composed of a grid of different types of elements: Sections, Applications, Widgets and Anchor Spaces. All the elements of the Portal may perform a default operation depending on the type of element and its status when they are focused. In addition, a Long Click/Press Behaviour is also unveiled. By pressing the Ok button of the remote controller for a couple of seconds over a focused application element of the Portal, the system will open up a contextual menu with different options that will allow the user to perform several tasks over the selected element, like de-anchoring, moving and uninstalling applications. This behaviour is replicated by means of the Tools button of the remote controller. A similar Long Click/Press Behaviour over the All Apps Screen is also considered.
