  • Publication number: 20160257821
Abstract: The invention relates to a binding dispersion for the production of insecticide paints and to a method for producing said dispersion, consisting of an aqueous dispersion of modified VeoVa vinyl nature, including active biocide materials, in which the polymer is vinyl acetate and VeoVa and the biocide materials, at a concentration of 10%, are immersed to surround the polymer particles, forming a structure with a polymer core and a shell of active ingredients. The production method comprises: a seeding step, in which a small part of the pre-emulsion (monomers, emulsifiers, water) and catalyst is added to the reactor; a polymerization step, in which the rest of the catalyst and pre-emulsion is then added, followed by the active biocide materials; stirring at high temperatures for at least one hour; and a redox reaction, with oxidizing and reducing agents.

  • Publication number: 20140314248
Abstract: A wireless headphone system is disclosed that provides a hands-free and cord-free way to listen to a personal electronic device. The wireless headphone system comprises an earpiece component with an embedded wireless receiver and a headphone jack component with an embedded transmitter, wherein the transmitter and the wireless receiver are in communication with each other. The earpiece component comprises a protruding ear bud component, a curved arm component that wraps around a user's ear to secure the earpiece component in place, and a wireless receiver. The headphone jack component comprises a jack adapter component which is plugged into an electronic device to transmit music to the earpiece component, and a transmitter. The transmitter and the wireless receiver are in communication with each other to transmit signals from the headphone jack component to be received by the wireless receiver in the earpiece component.

  • Publication number: 20090176033
Abstract: A method for the manufacture of refractive optical elements includes (a) placing a substrate close to a starting material, both arranged inside a chamber; (b) vaporizing or subliming the starting material by means of light irradiation; and (c) depositing this vapour phase on the substrate. The coating deposited has a refractive optical functionality on account of its composition and profile and also presents an increase in the threshold of damage at high light intensities.

  • Publication number: 20090087581
Abstract: A method and related apparatus for registering diffractive optical structures, in which: (a) a transparent substrate is positioned next to a starting material inside a chamber, (b) the starting material is vapourised or sublimated, (c) the vapour phase is deposited on the substrate, and (d) the area of the substrate on which the vapour phase was deposited is irradiated concurrently with a random distribution of the light intensity. The deposit has a diffractive optical functionality owing to the local changes produced in its structure, which are controlled by the distribution of the light intensity used in the production process.

  • Publication number: 20050106657
Abstract: The method of fermentation with selected strains of B. trispora described in the present invention makes it possible to achieve lycopene yields higher than those currently described. The methods of isolation, purification and formulation are applicable to any natural source of lycopene, especially to submerged cultures of mucoral fungi of the genera Blakeslea, Choanephora, Phycomyces or Mucor. The method of extraction makes it possible to simplify the recovery process and increase the purity of the product, relative to the methods previously described. The methods of formulation provide high added value, since they make it possible to obtain stabilized preparations of lycopene for direct application in the food and pharmaceutical fields.
