  • Publication number: 20030170671
Abstract: The present invention describes a newly discovered human G-protein coupled receptor and its encoding polynucleotide. Also described are expression vectors, host cells, agonists, antagonists, antisense molecules, and antibodies associated with the polynucleotide and/or polypeptide of the present invention. In addition, methods for treating, diagnosing, preventing and screening for disorders associated with aberrant cell growth and those related to the small intestine and colon are illustrated.

  • Publication number: 20030153063
Abstract: The present invention provides novel polynucleotides encoding HGPRBMY11 polypeptides, fragments and homologues thereof. The present invention also provides polynucleotides encoding variants of the HGPRBMY11 polypeptide, HGPRBMY11v1 and HGPRBMY11v2. Also provided are vectors, host cells, antibodies, and recombinant and synthetic methods for producing said polypeptides. The invention further relates to diagnostic and therapeutic methods for applying these novel HGPRBMY11, HGPRBMY11v1, and/or HGPRBMY11v2 polypeptides to the diagnosis, treatment, and/or prevention of various diseases and/or disorders related to these polypeptides, particularly cardiovascular diseases and/or disorders. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of the polynucleotides and polypeptides of the present invention.
