Publication number: 20230367835Abstract: Implementations relate to determining whether and/or how to implement a user request to prevent a particular search result from being provided in response to a search query. Some of those implementations grant or deny the request based on processing of the particular search result, the search query, and/or account information for a user submitting the user request. For example, some implementations process such information utilizing a classifier in determining whether to automatically deny the request, automatically approve the request, or to provide the request for manual review. Some additional or alternative implementations at least selectively automatically expand (or suggest for automatic expansion) an approval of a request to search result(s) and/or to one or more search queries that are not specified in the request.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2023Publication date: November 16, 2023Inventors: Divya Sharma, Wei Chen, Ron Eden, Maryam Garrett, Bryan Christopher Horling, Angel Rodriguez, Sean Jordan, Onur Ozdemir, Molly Murphy

Patent number: 11727133Abstract: Embodiments herein describe a pattern or syntax that can be used to convey or express the reason or purpose for a service provider to request user data in an identity federation. A service provider can request user data from the identity provider using an authentication process. If the authentication process is successful, the identity provider provides an authorization token to the service provider which it can use to retrieve the user data. The embodiments herein obtain user consent in the same authentication process used to provide the authorization token. In order to do so, the embodiments herein introduce a pattern or syntax that the service provider uses to convey the purpose for which it wants to use the user data to the identity provider.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2021Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Vivek Shankar, Jose Angel Rodriguez, Weide Victor Soon, Adrian Rinaldi Sasmita

Patent number: 11528955Abstract: A personal protective headgear is an apparatus fully enclosing a user's head, protecting not only from potential contamination of breathing air but also from potential physical damage. A facial shield is hermetically sealed around the front-facing portion of the apparatus, preventing entrance of unfiltered air. Fans direct air through a set of filters, thus cleansing air entering the apparatus. The apparatus may further be equipped with a variety of interactivity modules, including cameras, speakers, lights, displays, and more. A set of sensors may be utilized to monitor the user and the user's surroundings in different conditions. The apparatus may also include wireless capabilities that allow the wearer to transfer information to and from a remote user, thereby allowing the user to follow instructions or otherwise interact with a guide or other such remote companion. Swappable battery packs allow the user to avoid losing power, even while replenishing power supplies.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2021Date of Patent: December 20, 2022Inventor: Jose Angel Rodriguez

Publication number: 20210213915Abstract: PROPCA is a multi-purpose tool composed of two chocks joined by groove and protrusion. Installing the handle (bolt and spike) through the bottom of PROPCA could be used to remove dirt or snow, separate, each can perform various tasks due to particular form and drill holes in specific areas. The reduction in size allows the creation of different and more manageable tools, with better efficiency helping each other in the accomplishment of different task. To separate PROPCA, the spike and bolt should be removed and both chocks slide apart. That single chock could be used as a jack, hammer, nail remover, scraper, pickaxe, or as a tire catapult or tire restrainer. Both chocks could work together to remove the rim from the flat tire. Ordinary vehicle tools are limited in performance. A multi-purpose tools could be the difference when physical integrity is at risk.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 14, 2020Publication date: July 15, 2021Inventor: Angel Rodriguez-Cruz

Patent number: 10701018Abstract: A message distribution technique permits individual subscribers to receive text messages from a broadcaster. The broadcaster uploads a text message to a central processing service where it may be redirected to a chat room associated with the broadcaster. In addition, a push notification is sent to ail subscribers of a particular broadcaster to indicate the delivery of a text message from the broadcaster. The push notification may also contain a link that, when activated by the subscriber, initiates an associated software application program that navigates the subscriber directly to the chat room to view the text message. The text message may be generated and uploaded by the broadcaster without having to activate the software application. The push notification may also be received by subscribers without having to activate the software program. In one embodiment, the broadcaster can limit distribution of the video based on a geographic restriction.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2015Date of Patent: June 30, 2020Assignee: Mobilitie, LLCInventors: Gary B.
