Patents by Inventor Angelika H. McHale

Angelika H. McHale has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 5151460
Abstract: Thermoplastic compositions comprising polyphenylene ethers and polyesters, impact-modified by glycidyl (meth)acrylate grafted EPDM and compatibilized by an aromatic polycarbonate exhibit high impact strength alone and when combined with other impact modifiers. Their shear sensitive viscosity properties makes them uniquely suitable for extrusion and blow molding applications.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 21, 1989
Date of Patent: September 29, 1992
    Assignee: General Electric Co.
Inventors: John B. Yates, III, Charles F. Pratt, Angelika H. McHale
  • Patent number: 5037889
Abstract: A resin composition comprising:(i) at least one aromatic carbonate resin;(ii) at least one polyester resin; and(iii) an impact improving effective amount of at least one two-phase interpolymer comprised of at least one cross-linked polyacrylate and at least one cross-linked styrene-acrylonitrile resin.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 12, 1990
Date of Patent: August 6, 1991
    Assignee: General Electric Company
Inventors: Angelika H. McHale, Warren J. Peascoe

  • Patent number: 4902737
Abstract: A resin composition comprising:(i) at least one aromatic carbonate resin;(ii) at least one polyester resin; and(iii) an impact improving effective amount of at least one two-phase interpolymer comprised of at least one cross-linked polyacrylate and at least one cross-linked styrene-acrylontrile resin.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 22, 1988

    Assignee: General Electric Company
Inventors: Angelika H. McHale, Warren J. Peascoe
  • Patent number: 4482498
Abstract: A composition containing a chelated titanium compound and an additive selected from the group consisting of (1) esters of thioalkanoic acids, (2) di-tertiary-butyl phenol containing compounds, (3) organic phosphites, and (4) mixtures of (2) and (3), retards the color change of the composition on storage. When this composition is used as the catalyst for one package, room temperature curing silicone elastomeric compositions of the type comprising a hydroxyl endblocked polydiorganosiloxane and a silane having an average of from 2.01 to 4 inclusive alkoxy radicals, the silicone elastomeric composition can be stored without substantial color formation. The improvement in reduced color change is useful in silicone elastomeric compositions which are clear or light colored.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 23, 1982
Date of Patent: November 13, 1984
    Assignee: Dow Corning Corporation
Inventors: James R. Falender, Angelika H. McHale
