  • Patent number: 7854322
Abstract: The present invention refers to a fast-opening plaster packaging comprising a plaster having at least an adhesive support protected with at least two films (P1, P2) made of protective material and detachable from the adhesive support, and an envelope (E) suitable for containing the plaster. The envelope has at least two portions (E1, E2) mutually dividable and each dividable portion of the envelope is anchored to at least one of the protective films (P1, P2). The packaging is characterized in that at least one of the protective films (P1, P2) has at least a cut (I1, I2) suitable for shaping one or more columns and one or more arcades (LA) or semi-arcades. The column(s) is(are) joined to the corresponding semi-wrapper (E1) at anchoring line (C1) of the protective film (P1) and is(are) able, upon pulling at least one of the portions (E1) of the envelope (E), to fold onto itself(themselves) as such one or more arcades or semi-arcades (LA) made of protective material are substantially not involved into folding.

  • Publication number: 20080190799
Abstract: Multiple packaging (21) of wrappers containing products for medical use comprising an envelope (23) to which at least two bunches of said wrappers (25, 35) are fastened, said bunches being arranged so that the envelopes of each bunch turn out to be mutually joined along one side (25a, 35a) and free along the opposite side (25b, 35b) so as to appear spread apart, wherein said bunches are fastened inside said envelope (23) so to allow maximizing the multiple packaging capacity, without having to considerably increase the size.

  • Patent number: 6855861
Abstract: A patch with a fast-opening package comprises an adhesive support, possibly lacking the bandage pad and covered by one or more films of a protective material that can be separated from the adhesive support, a wrapper enclosing the patch and consisting of two half-wrappers that can be separated by pulling two end portions, at least one of the two half-wrappers being anchored to the one or more films protective material. At least one film of protective material has an extension that covers at least half the support and has a region submitted to die pressing to reduce the surface in contact with the adhesive, thereby allowing removal of the film by pulling the associated half-wrapper without a noticeable effort.

  • Patent number: 6719137
Abstract: The invention refers to a preferential rapidly opening package for adhesive bandages comprising a wrapping, obtained by the union of two half-wrappers (I1, I2), in which is enclosed the adhesive bandage provided with an adhesive support (A), and in which the pulling of the ends of said half-wrappers (I1, I2) causes the preferential removal of one of said half-wrappers (I1, I2).

  • Patent number: 6062285
Abstract: A machine for manufacturing adhesive dressings having an adhesive support, absorbing material compresses laying on the support and a protective layer, includes a cutting element for cutting compresses to a desired size and placing them at the desired intervals onto the adhesive layer. The cutting element includes a first cylindrical counter roll that has a smooth surface and a second roll acting on the first roll. The second roll has projecting sectors, alternated with recessed sectors, provided with at least a transversal cutting knife for cutting the absorbing tape by compressing the same against the counter roll. The tape is drawn during the synchronous rotation of the rolls by the projecting sectors cooperating with the surface of the counter roll.

  • Patent number: 4485713
Abstract: A punching device comprising a pair of opposed complementary dies vertically guided by a pair of guide rods each rotatably connected to a crank pin to continuously punch band material moving between the dies. The crank pins rotate synchronously in opposed directions with their crank centers spaced only vertically relative to the working plane. Each of the dies supports a plurality of cooperating tools and the tools in one of the dies are independently axially movable male punches sealingly guided in ducts communicating with a closed chamber filled with a fluid.

  • Patent number: 4418822
Abstract: A rapidly opening sealed package for wound dressing adhesive tape comprising an adhesive support carrying a wound dressing pad covered endwise by a pair of protective films attached to a pair of outer sheaths so that by pulling the outer sheaths apart the protective films will move therewith to separate centrally and uncover the wound dressing pad. An adhesive layer is applied adjacent said wound dressing pad between said protective films and said outer sheaths. In this manner a material of poor adhesive power such as siliconated paper may be used for the protective films.
