    Abstract: A modular multimedia fluid treatment system of the manifold type is disclosed wherein fluids, to be treated, are conducted into a first end of a manifold, conducted through a plurality of treatment cartridges, and end-use fluid is conducted out from a second opposite end of the manifold of the fluid treatment system. While the present invention is described and illustrated in conjunction with treating water, the general overall structure of the present invention may of course be utilized in conjunction with the treatment of fluids other than water. In addition, the unique modular characteristics of the system are applicable to those systems utilizing one or more fluid treatment cartridges.

    Abstract: A traffic cone system includes a base, a sleeve, and a retainer. The retainer substantially secures the sleeve relative to the base. A member such as a spring may be inserted into the sleeve make the sleeve stand upright. The member may act in concert with the retainer to secure the sleeve relative to the base. The system may be used to refurbish damaged traffic cones or may otherwise be retrofitted to existing traffic cone components. The system may alternatively be used to build new cones.
