Abstract: A mounting mechanism for supporting an accessory on a slatwall includes a mounting bracket including a body portion having first and second ends each configured to be received and retained within the channel of a respective groove in the slatwall. The mounting bracket extends between first and second ends and includes a central region defining a central opening. The mechanism also optionally includes a bezel retained within the central opening and a latch at least partially disposed within the central opening and pivotally coupled to the mounting bracket and moveable between retaining and release positions. The mechanism includes a biasing member coupled to the latch configured to bias the latch in the retaining position. The latch is configured to engage the channel of a second groove when the mounting bracket is disposed within the first groove and when the latch is in the retaining position.
