    Abstract: A pelletized corn gluten meal having a coating of particulate aluminum silicate, for example as provided by pulverized kaolin clay, is provided for use as an herbicide or as a fertilizer. A method of manufacture of the pelletized corn gluten meal provides for the conditioning of powdered corn gluten meal with a moisturizing agent and a binding agent, pelletization of the conditioned corn gluten meal, and dusting with aluminum silicate or pulverized kaolin clay.
