    Abstract: An umbrella holder for a golf cart is adapted to hold a handle of an umbrella when the umbrella is open and to hold a collapsed canopy portion of the umbrella when the umbrella is closed. The holder is also adapted for infinite adjustment between a first elevation and a second elevation, whereby the umbrella can be set at many different heights. By making the holder pivotable, the angle of inclination of the umbrella can be varied.
