  • Patent number: 8854069
Abstract: Production test of integrated circuit face thermal management challenges with higher power devices. Current production handlers do not have adequate thermal management characteristics. This invention employs thermal diodes on each device under test and a closed loop microprocessor controlled feedback system for thermal control during production test. The feedback system controls the open/close state of a valve supplying cooling fluid to bathe the integrated circuit based upon the difference between a temperature indicated by at least one thermal diode and a set point temperature.

  • Publication number: 20110167878
Abstract: The suspension arrangement for the clothes washing machine is defined by a plurality of suspension rods, each comprising a slim and flexible stem having an upper end coupled to a structural cabinet and a lower end coupled to a tank to be suspended inside the structural cabinet. The arrangement also provides for a plurality of radial rods, having an inner end coupled to a median side region of the tank, and an outer end coupled to a facing median region of a respective suspension rod so as to transmit to each respective suspension rod at least part of the radial displacement of the tank during machine operation, so as to cause a corresponding elastic deformation, by flexion, on the respective suspension rod.

  • Publication number: 20100294006
Abstract: The present invention refers to a suspension assembly for laundry machines and, more specifically, to a suspension assembly for laundry machine comprising a washing liquid-containing tank suspended inside a structural housing. Said suspension assembly of the present invention comprises at least a suspension rod coupled to an upper portion of the inner wall of said housing and an lower portion of the outer wall of said tank; and at least a radial connection element with a first edge couplable to different positions of the outer wall of said tank and a second edge couplable to the suspension rod.

  • Patent number: 6588799
Abstract: A mechanical device extends the wheel base of the vehicle so as to prevent vehicle rollover when the vehicle tilts. The device comprises a sliding steel bar or rod with a wheel or cylindrical ball joint at the terminal end that will slide out from a vehicle when the vehicle begins to tilt. The bar/rod extends to the side at the front and rear of the vehicle to a point where it touches the road to prevent further tilt or rollover. The sliding bar/rod is enclosed in a sleeve that is attached to the frame, bumper or body of the vehicle, so that the load of the vehicle can be absorbed, preventing tilting or rollover.

  • Patent number: 6500244
Abstract: A filtration device particularly for use with vacuum cleaners used for collection of fine liquid spray particles which tend to clog porous solid filters. The device utilizes readily replaceable liquid as a filtration medium with air being forced into the liquid then released for additional multiple liquid contacts. The device further includes horizontal baffles with air access apertures wherein one or more of the baffles can be perforated, mesh or absorbent therein which are positioned above the surface of the liquid, with a vacuum being applied to the area. This redirects liquid spray particle laden air into filtration contact with liquid multiple times wherein filtration efficiency is in excess of 99%. The perforated, absorbent or mesh baffle removes remaining mist or spray from the system or device.

  • Patent number: 6053805
Abstract: A dust free sanding device, such as for use in sanding wallboards, having a sanding block element and an elongated handle attached to the block element with a rotating swivel hinge which handle is variably movable in a full 360.degree. arc and hingedly swivelable, in a direction normal thereto, in a 180.degree. arc. The handle is a hollow cored cylinder with open ends. The block element is apertured at its connection with the swivel hinge and the swivel hinge is centrally apertured in registration with the aperture in the block element. A vacuum line is effected through the handle to the apertures in the swivel hinge and sanding block to provide suction for removal of sanding dust from beneath the sanding block during a sanding operation. Releasable spring loaded detente balls provide a positive position retention at desired positions.
